I enjoy every plate, startin for the appetizer and finishing with the surrealist Dalinian egg. Really good author cooking just in the city center.

I rarely have had good 'amouse bouche' even in 3* Michelin restaurants but here the 'snacks' as they call them here were superb ! All of these from Gaudi gazpacho to marinated mussels, to smoked at the 'moment' salmon and then fois gras yogurt to suet pastry with prawn, something else. But strangely that's really where really where the fun... More

You know when something is so delightful you just can't stop smiling and laughing. Well the food here is that good. The service if fantastic and they accommodated us just dropping in. It is superbly executed, carefully thought out and presented food. Quite serious - except for the final post desert dish which is a very fun riff on the... More

Decided to treat ourselves to an extravagant dinner our last night in Girona and happened upon this gem through TripAdvisor. At first we were the only people in the restaurant, which was a bit odd as the staff stood and literally watched us eat. After a while the dining room started to fill up and the staff was too busy... Amazing quality and service. The chef is truly imaginative. Do yourself a real favour and dine here. The dining room is understated yet elegant and the staff speak English very well.

I dined with a Spanish friend at Massana two years ago and wanted my partner to experience it, so I returned two weeks ago. He loved it too. Massana is as over-the-top wonderful as I remembered. Every bite is a treat. You may say (as we did), things like "....I don't eat eel...(bite taken).....oh, wait.......this is amazing!" Do get the... More

There is no missing or mistaking chef Pere Massana's passion. I took my wife there for lunch to celebrate her birthday and also to cap off our holidays in Spain. We were surprised and thrilled that the man himself came out of the kitchen to present us with the menu, explain it and then take our orders. We opted for... More

We had a fabulous birthday lunch for my son. There were four of us and although there have been a mixup in the reservation we were treated to perfect courtesy and a most memorable meal. The chefs appetizers were exquisite. We also enjoyed the ever present ham and bread with olive oil and tomato. My turbo was perfectly prepared, two... More
