Despite some other people's experiences we had no problems here. Sat outside (for which you pay the usual premium), good location at the foot of a secondary route up to to the Cathedral. 3-course set menu, grilled asparagus - good: we shared the seafood paella...More

The service was so rude that we actually didn't order anything in the long run. We first entered and wished to use bathroom and then sit down. However, the manager/proprietor of the place (somewhat aged lady) literally pushed us out.

Do not go to that place. Both the service and the food was very bad. We went as a group of 5 people and luckily there was a table. The funny thing is when we came in the table had pretty plates on it but...More

El Pou Del Call looks like it hasn’t changed much in 20 years but what’s wrong with that if you’re getting it right ? Staff are friendly and relaxed and the food is good quality, fresh, unpretentious and not expensive. It was pretty quiet when...More

We went past this place at lunchtime and people were queuing, so we decided to try for the evening. It opens at 8 pm, filled up quickly , I think the big Spanish party were family or friends. Quirky interior, the lady serving was good...More

Four of us had lunch in this pleasant little restaurant near the cathedral on a miserable wet day in April. The food was good - cannelloni, paella, mussels, spicy sausage with white beans, baked apple filled with crema Catalan etc. Can’t believe the last review...More

This restaurant is in the Old Jewish Quarter ( The Call ) just a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral. So it's right in the heart of Girona's tourist district and yet very reasonably priced. My wife and I went for lunch and chose...More

I enjoyed an excellent lunch here today. The restaurant was full inside when I arrived but I was told if I returned in forty minutes a table would be available. The staff continued in this helpful manner throughout my meal. The restaurant is nicely located...More
