The River Cafe

Ratings and reviews

Location and contact

We are a restaurant, with many dishes for coeliacs, cafeteria and pub, all in one, located in the Barri Vell of Girona, just below the beautiful church of Sant Feliu! We offer you a warm family atmosphere, inspired by Bruce Springsteen and the culture of Native Americans, amazing and unique. We have different environments: tables, bar and the famous Chester sofas, and a fantastic terrace, to enjoy the River at any time of the day. Pets are also welcome

Great selection. And very good atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Would only recommend more Irish Whiskey instead of Scottish:)

So we sat in 3 persons to grab a cold drink, and a waitress asked us if we are here for beverage or for food. When we said „drink” we were refused service because it’s „lunchtime”, despite everyone around was having a glass of wine...More

I have been to this place a few times over the years and ever since the increase in patriotic tensions between the Catalonian and Spanish the Catalonian staff at the River Cafe have begun treating English speakers and Spanish speakers like absolute garbage. I have...More
