Good restaurant and also the service was pretty good! It also has some vegan options, and that is great!!! And best hummus in town!

Pleasantly surprised for a long Sunday lunch. Great Paella, and the pista resistance was grandma's Catalonian cheesecake. This was a ratatouille moment (You will know if you have seen the movie) Simply divine. The team were friendly and very hard working. Impressed and great value.

For our last evening in Girona, and having already dined at several highly-rated establishments, our experience here was fine but not so memorable. The seating, in this confined area, was away from the restaurant, under historic but rather dark and cool arcades. Service by the young lady was prompt and pleasant. My wife was disappointed by her choice of gnocchi with... More

They have tapas or a la carte dishes. We took scrambled eggs with black sausage and cranberries, just delicious. The tabule was a very fresh option for the summer days. As main dish we wanted to try the hake cannelloni, but it was finished. So we went for the duck which was great! Deserts were great, Catalan cream ice cream... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant tonight and were very happy that we did. We each ordered two dishes from their appetizer menu and thought the food was excellent. We had salad with nuts and goat cheese in a huponey vinagarette dressing, cous couse with vegetables and gazpacho and carrot soup. We enjoyed the cave like ambience. There were menus in... More

I guess I should start with the good things. Three of us had the Iberico pork chop, which was delicious - the meat was well seasoned and drizzled honey complimented the quality cut. One of us had the fish, which was perfectly cooked. The starters were awful. I had the hummus with vegetable sticks, which were so dried out they... More

Decor was funky and the atmosphere was great. The waitress was really nice and spoke English. The food was different, but I like to try new dishes. I really enjoyed my meal, duck with pistachio sauce, goats cheese salad and dessert had yoghurt sauce, but I don't think I would go back. My husband ordered chicken in pastry and the... More

During the last "temps de flors" in Girona, we stopped in this restaurant to have dinner. It is very well located just 5 minutes from the very downtown. It was very late and they did a valuable effort to keep the kitchen open for us. Menu is modern, imaginative and courageous. Food quality was average and some of their specialities... More

We enjoyed this restaurant last year, and this year find Vinil still gives excellent value, with delicious dishes which don't try to be overly elaborate but are attractively presented and are great value for money. It's in a handy spot if you're looking for a friendly cosy place for proper lunch (not 'fast food'!) while walking around in the old... More
