We ate here on Saturday, six of us, to celebrate my wifes 60th Birthday. The selection on the a la carte menu was limited but a large selection on the blackboards. The house wine was strangely from Galthia I think. A favourite of ours Ribera del Duero. Superb at 17.50€. Food was beautiful my wife and son in law had... More

I was told about this restaurant by the clerks of my hotel (Cotton Club Autograph Collection Barcelona). It's nearby and I was tired so I gave it a try, it was just a few blocks away. Inside the restaurant is nice, nothing exceptional. I was given the menu and since I don't eat fish I went to the rest of... More

We were brought here by a Catalan friend. The food was excellent. Very fresh seafood, scallops perfectly cooked, excellent hake, also fideus with fresh prawns. Delicious creme Catalan for dessert.

This CA LA Nuri is located in the center of Barcelona. There's another one at the beach. The one in the city is nicely located. They offer a good selection of tapas but also a standard menu to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the prices are more than fair for the quality.

Bright and modern but a bit too bright (my partner compared it to a canteen!). The service was efficient and quick but a bit lacking in personality or warmth. Only had main course (apart from some olives and bread(2 individual mini ciabiata which weren't great)) and the food was fine. I had a rare entrecote which was properly cooked but... More

Our hotel staff recommended Ca La Nuri as a restaurant that serves high-quality local Catalan cuisine and that is exactly what they do. The place is decorated in very modern, contemporary style and brightly lit, which makes it a bit uncomfortable for dining after dark in our opinion, but the service is efficient and friendly, and the food is excellent... We had lunch on a Sunday at 12.30, and were lucky. Most tables at the front row were reserved, and we got one of the last ones out at the beach, in the second row. Within an hour, all tables inside had also been filled up. While the terrace is 10% more expensive (which is a bit of a strange... More

There were 6 people in our group. Food was tasty but not totally what some expected. Probably just prepared differently than other countries. Service was good but not excellent because one in our party waited exceptionally long for their food. This restaurant is in a good art of town and we I would patronize again.

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. We tried the tapas which were ok, but not all of them were worth its price for example the casserole of vegetables which costed nearly nine euros and contained some slices of grilled vegetables. The best dish was the mussel soup.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
