This cheese shop has a small dining area in the back. A cheese plate for two is sufficient for a light lunch, and the owner chooses different cheeses daily. We had a delightful and interesting five kinds between the two of us. Red wine to accompany. This is a tiny place but do welcome with its classical music and quiet... More

Frequently I visit Katherine and her store to know about the different kind of cheese from Spain. She brings different cheeses from different places and she offers a taste to discover them. Taste mixed with vine and quince. Thanks

This was a very quirky find and we couldn't believe the excellent value. The owner, a friendly Scottish lady clearly had a real passion for cheese and had worked with the owners of Neal's Yard in Borough market. The cheeses we tried were fantastic - all local and paired with a lovely red wine, all for a few euros. I... More

This place is closed for remodeling. Sign did not say when it would open again. We were very disappointed that we could not experience the cheese tastings.

I visited this formatgeria on a foodie tour. Of all the foods I tried that day, Formatgeria La Seu was by far my favorite. I loved the concept, the cheese, the wine, and the atmosphere. The owner is quite a character herself. It is evident she loves cheese and knows her stuff.

This was my 3rd time to Barcelona and my 3rd visit to La Seu. This place does not disappoint. Catherine is so welcoming and clearly has a passion for her line of work. The sit down cheese tasting is amazing value and do not leave without trying the cheese ice cream! This will definitely not be our last visit!

A short brake while strolling the Gothic quarter. The owner, originally from Scotland, welcomes you with a painter-like tray with 3 pieces of cheese and a shot of local wine. Little hideout, cosy, tasty and reasonably priced. worth a visit.

We tried some really good cheeses and had wine for 3 euros a plate. It was so nice that we had a second plate so we could try some more. The Scottish lady who owns the shop is very knowledgeable. We will definitely return.

The owner is a fiesty Scottish woman who very carefully selects each of the unbelievable cheeses in her walk-in refrigeration case. Regional goat, sheep and cow's milk goodies that will delight your lucky mouth. They also offer a very reasonably priced tasting and she's got a great bottled house wine with an unbeatable price point...about $5 if you can believe... More
