My husband and I were very excited to visit this Uruguayan restaurant since that's were we are from, but have lived in the US for 40 years; although it has mixed reviews and not many recent ones. We didn't realize that restaurants open at noon till 4:30 pm and open back at 8 pm till 11 pm or later. We... More

Excellent food but the portions are huge. Take care, it is better to divide one plate. They are not accepting credit card (believe it is temporary).

Hearty food for workers with enormous portions of well cooked beef and great atmosphere. Prompt service. Three courses for €10 is rare. The meat alone must have been worth 5. We will be back!!

If you want to eat the best steak then go to la Rueda. We had a fantastic dinner. We ordered sirloin steak and some local appetizers. The waiters were very gentle and they gave us good suggestions. We loved it and will go back next year

Offered a mixed beef plate with fries for 30 euros, omg you should have seen the size of it and it tasted amazing. Cute restaurant, not the easiest to find and very small from outside but opens up once in. Good choice and great menu prices.

Lovely place in one of the back streets of Barcelona but seriously if you like a good charcoal grill steak some friendly staff and a special dessert that's of the menu, this place is a must for meat or even fish lovers....

Great Steaks, Service and Wine. Servers at your beckon call and grilled anything always available. Have been going there since the early nineties.

Was recommended this place by a Uruguayan friend. The steaks here are AMAZING! Thick cut, tender and juicy - I will forever be searching for a steak comparable to the ones I had here! Went here on a quiet Monday night and we ordered a mixed platter. The meat was delicious!! Be sure to try the black sausages - something... More

The food is good and the portions are large, but the recipes are just very insipid. The waiters are tired of being there to the point of unplasent and the decor, it could be great if they eliminate the Xmas trees and lights.

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
