Food: We were stressed to find a restaurant for the last night in Barcelona and ended up here. The combination of flavours were really good especially in the chips and croquettes. The chips were warm and delicious, not too salty and crispy. The croquettes were well made, tasty and texture, they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken wings were some of the best we’ve had. The sauce was perfectly seasoned. The meatballs were a 10/10 (from a swede), the sauce was amazing. The rolls (wraps) were however a little… special. They were a little soft on the outside but burnt on the corners (didn’t taste burnt). The mixture of filling was a bit too much especially with the cheese. I do think however that if you like buffalo mozzarella it may fit your tastebuds better. Service : The personal was quick with taking our orders and dishing out the food but not in a stressful way. We had two different waiters bringing and taking the finished dishes who were friendly. Ps. Forgot to take pictures, we were hungry.

Warm restaurant and welcoming waiters, nevertheless the prices are exorbitant (each tapas costs around 10€ despite a not exceptional quantity...) It's not at all typical and the dishes weren't necessarily all homemade (and sprinkled with mayonnaise without us having a say!!!!). However, everything remains correct and the restaurant is very spacious and well decorated!

This looked like a lively spot with an attractive ambience and most tables tables were occupied or booked by 7pm. We relucantly opted to sit out on the patio. The greeter had kindly taken us out there to check it out. A breezy night but it wasn't too chilly so we opted to stay. We were attended to quickly. Sadly though, by the time we left, we were feeling rushed and disappointed. We had two servers, both of them forgot something in the order, no apologies were given. Our tapas arrived too quickly, one on top of the other. We felt pressured to eat quickly and vacate. Only the lovely bussing attendent had a smile to offer, she was warm & considerate, but was scolded by the server for removing our wine glasses too soon. We wondered if they were short staffed? We like to give establishments the benefit of the doubt. We were in/out after 4 dishes and a glass of wine in barely an hour. It soured our final night in Barcelona. We would give this a pass next time we are here. The food was good and mushroom rissoto was very good, but the meal didn't come anywhere near to a couple of other outstanding restaurants we had visited earlier in the week.

Expectations were high, price high for food execution and taste. If they want, they can have the Guinness record for speed, but when this involves serving a bomb that is cold on the inside and hot on the outside or some reheated torreznos, it is not worth being so fast. Hard artichokes, and overcooked octopus with spicy paprika from Siete Pueblos, even though it was the best of the meal. Waiters waiting for us to finish the dishes to bring the next one. They passed behind me 70 times, and 50 times they hit my partner's chair, that's what it's like to run from here to there. Ask the waitress for recommendations and dedicate yourself to reading what we have already seen on the menu. I do not recommend at all. You have gold in your hands, a good place, a perfect location, but gentlemen, greed breaks the bank... less hurry, more care in the kitchen, and a better product, the profits will be lower but the clientele will be fixed, because when you think that we are all tourists... the disaster begins

We saw this place 2 days before. Was really impressed with the setting but service was awful and embarassing!! Avoid When we did, rather than our favourite round the corner - El Atril.. When we were greeted the service was bad. We were shown a table and when asked to sit outside got an eye roll and left at a table. They came back 2 mins later and asked for our food order. This happened 3 times until we eventually were ready to order albeit rushed. Food was awesome. Really nice and flavour some. But - massively pricey. A plate of iberico was €20 and we’ve been eating better for €9- but we could see that - that wasn’t the problem It wasn’t that- we’re happy to pay top notch. But the food came over the waiter with the drinks said nothing. Didn’t even look in our eyes or direction and just chucked the drinks down. When it came to the food it was worse. They just chucked the plates across the table. It was so rude. But we carried on and laughed it off. When it came to the bill we had to get up and leave. No one challenged us. A really kind American lady was trying to tell them to their face the same experience we had but they just didn’t care and laughed at her behind her back when her husband pulled her away. Avoid. Embarrassment to the Spanish people we’ve found so accommodating.

Tourist hoaxers. Bad place to eat. Fatty and scarce food. Excessive price for quantity and quality of dishes. Dismal attention, bad work environment that is transmitted to diners. You are attracted by the decor and spaciousness of the restaurant and then it is a total snap. Swallow, pay and go, if you wait a few minutes you'll be thrown out with any excuse. Instead of restaurant they should ride a food truck, it would be just as bad because of the bad vibe they transmit. Never seen in any restaurant on the peninsula. A stain on Spanish cuisine and professionals.

Beautiful restraunt inside and fantastic food. Service however was a little to be desired! We ate for lunch midweek but on arrival the menu del dia was not offered, I'm guessing this is because we were not obviously local people. Upon asking for this menu we were treated like they didn't want us there Which was a shame as I'd have happily frequented this place if I was judging it by the food and aesthetics alone.

Should have stuck with instinct and other reviews on here. Enticed by daily set price menu but not available in evening. All tables 'reserved' but managed to find us one (despite being busy public holiday), along with others that turned up after us. Staff were brusque and service very rushed. Starters were nice but that's the only good thing we could say. Calarmari - had better from cheap frozen food store! Pork fillet dish was raw. Sent back, returned still bloody and cold. Decided to leave, then the staff became rude, as we stated we would not pay for the inedible pork dish. Waitress said it would be deducted from her wages, but retracted when we asked to see the manager.

I expected more, the food is not the best, ham croquettes lack creaminess, black pudding from Burgos is somewhat dry, anchovies are not the best and they charge you for the best, salmon tartar could be improved, very tasty bravas, a very good assortment of cheeses. well, very delicious coca bread. Expensive beer.

We were in Barcelona for the weekend to cheer on our daughter who was running in the Barcelona Marathon. Food is generally good in Barcelona but this little Tapas Restaurant was exceptional. Situated in one of the many side streets, we happened upon it, no booking and it was very good. Quality of food, service, variety and wine were all very good. The staff were clearly keen to make the dining experience exceptional and they did. Certainly not expensive, we ate very well for about €50 per head including wine. A real find and most certainly recommended.

We ended up here after our 1st and 2nd choice were full. The place has a lovely setting and we were seated out in the courtyard. Not once were we asked if this was ok. The food was fine mediocre tapas, much larger portions than normal tapas I have experienced anywhere else in Barcelona. What made me give this one star is that when we received our bill they added 8% to each dish and called this the “terrace charge” that was apparently legal in Barcelona! We were not told this when we were seated in this area. After some strong discussions with our waiter they finally removed the charge. Left a bit of a downer on our evening. Would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Stumbled across this lovely, unpretentious restaurant on our last night of our stay in Barcelona, definitely the best for us during our stay! Quaint and quirky interior, original stone with an organic wooden theme which was very well thought out - there is an outside courtyard if you so wish to dine outside, we opted to sit in. Tapas menu is available but we went for main dishes of Salmon and a chicken with rosemary, both beautifully presented and equally tasty. Desserts were sublime - Tiramisu was excellent with proper vanilla ice cream and an amaretto jelly, my husband ordered the chocolate coulant which the lovely waitress advised it would be approx 15mins as made to order, he said it was well worth waiting for! All in all a super place to dine, fabulous atmosphere and surroundings, great food and lovely staff that made us feel extremely welcome, I would definitely recommend a visit whilst in Barcelona!

This place is a tourist trap. It looks nice from the outside, but the waiters give you little attention and the food is poorly done. We had three tapas and two mains. The calamari was soggy, the chorizo was dry and tasted nothing like the authentic Spanish chorizo we enjoyed at other restaurants and the market. The meatballs were smothered in an overbearing fishy sauce and covered in soggy fries, while the expensive pork ribs were extremely chewy with obviously frozen potatoes. The waiters were disorganised and literally slid dishes on the table as they walked by without saying a word (I’m writing this as a waitress myself). Save your time and your money and go somewhere else.

Service- Outstanding, attentive and fast with orders. Could not fault. We had an extremely large drinks, entree and dinner order which our waitress Rachelle remembered perfectly. Food- Tapas were amazing, mixed main meats was nice to eat but a smaller serving than we anticipated. Atmosphere- Lovely, friendly, warm welcoming staff, air conditioned restaurant with indoor and outside seating. Great amburance and our waitress Rachelle helped make an dinner experience a pleasant and enjoyable one as a family eating in Barcelona. Sorry I did not take any photo, everyone just wanted to dig into the food.

We found this place via a TikTok (teenager found it). Really friendly staff, yummy food and relaxing atmosphere. We also really liked the style of the restaurant with giant beer containers etc. we had the grilled octopus, the calamari and French fries and the grilled prawns and the Padron peppers. All were really tasty and very well presented! The octopus even had a whole big reveal!

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
