Good quality product plus a good price. Owners are from Galicia and they offer top quality product from that region of Spain. Meat is a must plus the fish.

This place is in the middle of a happening neighborhood in the Eixample, but it is a simple, classic Catalan/Galician restaurant. The food is dependable and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and efficient.

An old school restaurant which has excellent dishes from the old days and a T-bone steak (chuleton) to die for.

Greek salad was strange with tomatoes, fetacheese and olive oil.. But Fishsoup and veal with roquefort sauce and rice was delicious 😋 service was good and prompt. Place looked newly renovated and clean.

We had a fish platter to share with wine. The fish was fresh, the house wine a good choice of Rioja - all at a very reasonable price. The service was very good and accomodated us because we had to dine quickly. It seems like a good neighbourhood bistro with classic Spanish/Catalan fare honestly executed. There were only locals when... More

Nice local restaurant. .sit inside so you don't get the traffic. We had some wholesome Spanish cooking ..mostly locals which is what drew us to it, lamb and patotoes brava..we're delicious. The menu was varied and they also had a good selection of Tapas

We've had dinner here, 2 of us with starters, main dishes, desserts for 50€. It's quite a reasonable price as food is great, nothing special but fresh. Service very fast as well so all in all it's a normal spanish place, no fancy decor and stuff, just nice food. Staff nice, not overwhelming. I would recommend this place if one... More

The dishes here are not served with minimal design or unnecessarily garnished. The names of the menu are not misleading and confising. The restaurant itself dosen't follow a pretentious decoration. This is simply an authentic coazy spanish restaurant which serves what it promisses. No tourist traps here, as most of the diners are locals. The tapas are not excelent, but... More

Nothing fancy about this place, you will find this kind of bar / restaurant a lot in the cities, away from all te tourist traps. When you see the menu it always amazes me what they can prepare in a small kitchen behind the bar. wide range of selections for both meat and fish. And the best of it, all... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
