Despite the reviews to the contrary, this is possibly one of the loveliest restaurants in Barcelone. It has a fabulous interior with exceptionally well turned out staff, who provide a meal to remember. This was the fourth time we have eaten here over the past two years and it is an essential part of our visits. We ate on a... More

We had lunch at this restaurant a week ago. The servings are large. The food is quite good but they don't seem to understand the meaning of a well done burger. We asked for it b/c our kids ordered the burgers which came quite bloody. We had to send the food back and even after additional cooking the burgers came... More

We arrived late, a couple and teenage kid. We got free cava at the table. Super tapas starters, superb veal burger for our son, but no children menu. Good entrecôte , fantastic duck. Delicious deserts. Very quick and observant service. Faboulos atmosphere with live piano. Good prices

Beautiful building but as the saying goes never judge a book by its cover. Dont waste your time and cash by eating here, there are thousands of places to eat in Barcelona, if you do risk it be aware the bread and olives that are brought to your table without you ordering them are charged at 1.75€ for each person... Live piano, average food, and a very pleasant ambience in the Bari Gotic. An easy first night dinner.

Hadn't planned anywhere to eat for our first night in Barcelona, and were impressed by the decor and live pianist here so went in. Pros: the live pianist was very good. My mother and father-in-law enjoyed their starters from the set menu, and my husband enjoyed his meat soup starter. Cons: the seafood paella was heavily over-salted and otherwise didn't... More

Extremely bad food, service and experience. Not a cosy place either. They argued with me when I complained and were not helpful! Do not go here.

Such a horrible place that I have to write a review. Went here with my parents and my boyfriend and we ordered some starters and steaks for main course. The food was wrongly cooked and tasted bad. Totally overpriced too. The service was bad, the manager and the waiters were really unkind. They started arguing with us when we complained.... More

This place has a charm of its own. If you can, come on piano night for great value and good playing (OK: Bryan Ferry was a little comedy...) Service depends on who you get: we had one waiter who was really helpful. The other was disdainful in the extreme. Food was good apart from the chips (I know, but bear... More
