Excellent and wide assortment of high end tapas. Good balance between familiar and more unexpected items. Don't miss the Obama fish croquettes. Neighborhood spot with great people watching and spot on service.

One of our best meals in Barcelona! Fun for our teenage kids to dine "late night" and see the crowd pile in (after 10:30pm -- on a weeknight) for delicious tapas and drinks. Wine and drink selection spot on. A must try if you're looking for a more metropolitan, upscale type of location to have yet more tapas!

We ate here for lunch based on the recommendation of our tour guide after a long morning of sightseeing. We loved everything about this restaurant- the excellent food, the cool atmosphere, and the very friendly staff!! A great neighborhood place with fresh food and a local flare. We dined with our 3 teen kids and everyone was very happy with... More

After the chaos of Tapas 24, this place was recommended by a local, and it did not disappoint. Friendly service, outstanding food and drinks and a lovely atmosphere that makes the evening very enjoyable. Mostly locals eat here. It is not a tourist trap. The cava sangria was very good. The mushroom and poached egg was excellent. The cod fritters... More

This restaurant has kept his high standards throughout the years. The menu is little or not changed, but the day specials are always surprisingly great. Try the Pepito de Ternera and the Pimientos del Patron. Of course don't leave without the Bomba. Excellent!!

This place was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel and I'm so glad we randomly found it on the map. The food was amazing - we ate their twice while we were visiting Barcelona. We both ordered Sangria and they give you a complimentary plate of the bread with tomato. I honestly can't remember everything that we ordered... More

Food was very good, very fresh. You can tell that these are not tapas found in most tourist areas. However, service was horrendous. We were ignored the whole time, we were not offered the day menu, or tomato bread. We were never asked if we wanted something else to drink after having my glass of wine empty for 20 minutes.... Located in a less touristic area, the place is modern, yet nice! Good tapas and wine for 30€ each. Local and typical food. Booking required !

I rated this as the best tapas in Barcelona- very technical and able cooking- certainly not the kind you could prepare at home. We had cuttlefish croquettes, prawns, tomoto bread, octopus braised with candied onions, girolles with a poached egg. Very very good. Cava was delicious as well. The service was top notch - you could tell everyone really cared... More

It's the second time I am writing a review because once again the service was outstanding! You have a good variety of food, nice and quiet environment and the best service so far! We went the 2nd of August at 21:30 with some English friends, and I have to mention that our waiter was amazing as always! He should be... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
