Can't go to Barcelona without visiting this lovely little bar. As authentic as it gets and the cava and tapas are delicious and great value for money. It's worth putting up with the crowdedness.

Loved it, gets crowded but thats part of the charm. You can't sit so be prepared to stand. Tapas are really good, love the champagne. :)

A very small crowded bar with great personality! The cava is very good, and cheap, and they have some cool house rules on the wall for how much you can drink before you have to buy some food. The food, buns with sausage, was ok....More

The cava here is amazing, it is cheap and the best tasting in town. The tapas are not what you would expect. If you're drunk you might like it, otherwise you will find it average. Basically they chop up some meat, fry it and give...More

It is not very neat but really delicious. You will eat while standing and chatting with your friends and enjoying a great meal with medium cost.

A tiny bar, into which everybody is packed like sardines, but one of the best experiences in Barcelona. The cava is delicious, the food is delicious, the bar staff are good natured and friendly. And it's so cheap...great value for money and a total hoot!

The best tapas we had in Barcelona and by far the cheapest Cava in town. This is the place to come for a quick and really good bite to eat. It's small so be prepared to queue for 5-10 mins outside on busy nights, but...More

If someone asked me to describe a Catalanian eatery, I wouldn't vote for any other example than this place. Stylish surroundings, fast service and a great value. Busy afternoon place was apparently just half-full at that point ..

I loved having lunch here. Where else can you get a bottle of champagne for 5 EU. We all pack in - sans table and chairs - and munch on good bread and meat and tapas, splashed down with some champagne. So much good fun...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
