Visited La Luna after reading reviews online and was very pleased with our visit. Aside from the amazing food, the restaurant is beautiful to look at. High arches, low lighting and comfortable seating take the dining experience to the next level! Loved everything we ordered, especially the goat cheese salad and duck in port sauce. SO GOOD!!

This place was a little hard to find but with some help in asking around we finally found it. It was worth the search. Everything was amazing except we had to was forever for our drinks. Which was a shame because we got our food fast but with nothing to drink. But service was still very friendly!

Had really good tapas at this restaurant - my partner and I shared nachos, mustard and sesame seed chicken wings, calamari and chicken quesadillas - all the food was delicious and perfect amount of food when sharing. Also had a beer and a cocktail - total came under €40 which we thought was very reasonable. The restaurant itself is contemporary... More

Ventured here after looking at the TA reviews and we weren't disappointed! A fantastic atmosphere and a really quirky and trendy place, beautifully decorated. Very busy and obviously popular with young people although a varied crowd all having a great evening. Music was just right to enhance the experience. Good varied menu. We had 4 tapas, desserts and a jug... More

We were a group of 13 enjoying dinner the night before a cruise. The tapas were wonderful, the service excellent. Highly recommended!

I tried El xampanyet, ziryab, boqueria , El tapeo, no 9, bubo. But nothing impressed me as much as luna did. Don't be confused by the price, the portion size is huge. Even a single tapas might be filling. 2 is definitely filling. Wines are cheap as well We had a great time here!

We were given this restaurant as a recommendation in the taxi from airport. It is hard to find given its location in del born district but well worth the effort . Great ambience ,excellent tapas with large servings and mojito made by an expert bar staff with Cuban experience ( what could be better ) not expensive and great value... More

I was in Barcelona, visiting from the US with my boyfriend. We didn't want to be touristy - so we made sure we had a ton of recommendations and found the best places to eat. La Luna was recommended to us by multiple friends, and it was a really great place! Now - I am more used to the US... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
