Great find in the narrow streets ...The venue is very cosy and chilled , The front of house are all friendly and helpful and the food is excellent a varied menu to cater for all. Very reasonably priced and value for money. It does get busy so be prepared to wait for a table but wow well worth it .... More

We hunted this place down after look on line, it opens at 6pm and it was worth the time trying to find it! The food was amazing and worth every penny. We stayed for 3 1/2 hours and there was only 2 of us. You are not rushed or pestered by the staff, you can take your time and enjoy... More

Very nice restaurant and bar... excellent tapas are served. Would recommend to go if you like eating tapas in a friendly atmosphere - if you like cocktails even better.

Great atmosphere, very reasonable prices for food and drinks...friendly staff ..the cheese plate had a great selection for starters and my husband had the lamb shoulder that was so tender a knife was not really required. The risotto was also great. Fantastic desserts too. Lovely gesture giving us a liqueur at the end of our meal..greetings from Australia Tahnee..

We got a good tip from the receptionist of hotel for La Luna Restaurant, and I have to admit it was a good choice... However the first experience was little bit confusing on the beginning. The restaurant is situated in very narrow and stinking street, so whenever we enter the restaurant we felt it was like an oasis in the... More

Happened upon this bar whilst wandering through the streets! What a great place - the tapas was AMAZING (try the lamb shoulder!) and very reasonable , especially considering the rubbish exchange rate at the moment. Good selection of beers and cocktails... definitely worth a visit!

Long slow paced evening of tapas and sangria. Server was attentive but not intrusive and was very patient with our 3 courses. The noise level was low enough for conversation, but still had a very active vibe. Lots of patrons coming in and out and a fun energetic vibe and crowd. The food was above average, but the duck was... More

Visited La Luna after reading reviews online and was very pleased with our visit. Aside from the amazing food, the restaurant is beautiful to look at. High arches, low lighting and comfortable seating take the dining experience to the next level! Loved everything we ordered, especially the goat cheese salad and duck in port sauce. SO GOOD!!

This place was a little hard to find but with some help in asking around we finally found it. It was worth the search. Everything was amazing except we had to was forever for our drinks. Which was a shame because we got our food fast but with nothing to drink. But service was still very friendly!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
