Loved everything about this place - food, service, atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Luna. All of the tapas were great, our waiter was wonderful and the music was eclectic but added to the festive atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Don't waste your time eating here when there are countless authentic and delicious restaurants around. Surprised with the menu when we sat down- the tapas are everything but Spanish or Catalan. Should have left before ordering but I let bad about doing that! Server was short and unwelcoming.

La Luna is a gem: fabulous location in an old building with tons of character and excellent affordable food. The choice of tapas was pretty large and we loved everything we ordered.

Nice drinks from a fast paced and hard working bartender. We were placed at the bar as we were only having a few drinks. We didn't have time for food today but will definitely be back. The tapas looks and smells wonderful.

It's not the easiest place to fine but wow is the food worth it. Tuna tataki is amazing as well as the filet migon. Truthfully I didn't dislike a single thing I had at La Luna and even went back a second time.

Some of this food almost made me tear up it was so delicious. The staff were very helpful and helped us by explaining certain items on the menu we were unfamiliar with. The portion size was gigantic and left us very stuffed. Great restaurant altogether. When the bill came at the end of the night we were surprised. One the... More

I might usually say this is a cozy destination but because it is so popular, I will say the quite seeming corners turn into a joyous murmur of satisfied customers savoring delicious tapas, entrees, drinks and wine. Our server was gracious in explanations, the kitchen was quick with delivery and the result was a fantastic meal/evening.

La Luna Being celiac we decided on this restaurant as it got good reviews on TA for being gluten free and I have to say the food was very good . It did fall down on a couple of points in particular the customer service. We always eat our evening meal about 7.00 - 7.30 pm and when we arrived... More

Visited this restaurant twice and had fabulous experience both times. Portions are quite large for tapas and we had 6 between us and struggled slightly to finish. Mojitos are great but had half a forest of mint in the glass. We paid €52 for 6 tapas and 2 drinks which we thought was great value considering the quality and quantity... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
