Was there luckily as someone cancelled. Tried to book ahead of time but without luck. Cannot imagine how lucky I was to have had dinner there. The food was excellent and the service is amazing. Well worth the amount spent!

been there with special someone and , after few months, we are still talking about the dinner. Yes, it takes long to get a full menu, yes, it is not cheap, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for and it is truly a gastronomic journey . The selection of 6 or 7 different kind... More

I have been fortunate enough to eat at several Michelin star restaurants in my life. I had high expectations for this restaurant as I read many of the reviews before I booked. I was celebrating a romantic occasion and sent the restaurant a message prior to my arrival. Overall, I was very pleased with the restaurant and had a great... More

It was my birthday treat and our first time at a Michelin 3 star. It’s extremely elegant, the tables are huge and there are very few. They have white cloths, per setting 2 cream plates and 1 fine wine glass and a really quirky sculpture. There are masses of staff and they work together very nicely. It costs an arm... More

We chose the Lasarte tasting menu at €185 per person. We were then presented with a series of tasters, all quite good, although the deep-fried apetizers were not very fine for such a high-standard menu and restaurant. The service is so over hyped in its procedure that my husband and I nearly burst out laughing loud when our napkins were... More

This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. For starters the premises are beautiful, as were the chinaware and .silverware. The breads were all very good, served from an interesting bread cart. The service was exceptional, always there but unobtrusive. The food was creative, beautiful and delicious. To top it all Martin Berasategui was visiting and stopped... More

I've tried multiple '3 Michelin Starred' restaurants throughout the world but my Lasarte experience was without a doubt my best ever! The design of the restaurant itself is mind blowing, the food just perfect and the staff, well, at times I thought we were being served by ghosts, so good is their ability to almost invisibly blend into the background... Via the introduction of my Mentor-Chef Jaume Brich in Barcelona we were extremely fortunate to dine at Lasarte on November 22nd 2016, on the eve of our boarding a cruise. Our group also witnessed "history being made" as we were the last party to occupy their private room, as a 2-Michelin Star restaurant. We left around midnight and she was... More

Visited here in August of 2015, this and Tickets were both on our list while in Spain however, Tickets was on holiday during our stay. Lasarte did not disappoint, we did the tasting menu and each dish was delicious, prepared to perfection, and near a work of art. Service was top notch as to be expected. We will be back... More

As a chef myself this was the most amazing meal and service I have ever encountered in my culinary life. Will be back. Congrats on your 3rd star guys.

Lasarte Restaurant opened in January 2006 and holds 2 Michelin stars since 2010. Lasarte is Martín Berasategui's cuisine embassy in Barcelona. After a full renovation carried out recently, the new Lasarte Restaurant is surprisingly much more modern and with more spacious and bright look. The emphasis on light, textures with dominance of oak and selection of furnishings have been the mainstay of the entire project to give the restaurant a unique personality. The culinary offer keeps the essence of Martin Berasategui's cuisine. At the head of the kitchen is Paolo Casagrande, who presents a selection of Berasategui's signature dishes with passion and enthusiasm, as well as new innovative dishes created especially for Lasarte. Joan Carles Ibáñez and his front of house team are the kitchen's ambassadors in the dining room and responsible for ensuring this wonderful cuisine reaches the table in a simply perfect way to make any visit a celebration. The restaurant has a semi-private room in the main dining room and a second private dining room, called the Chef's Table for up to 8 people -located in a loft over the kitchen with a glass wall that allows our guests to follow on all staging and creativity of the dishes.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
