We came to visit the chocolate museum, coincidentally, we found this restaurant. The steak was so delicious, and reasonable prices. I have to also mention that they have a certificate that all the meat used is halal.

Admittedly we intended to go somewhere else but there was a huge queue and we didn't want to wait. Where to go? El Foro looked attractive (and it is), so in we went. It was a lucky find. We enjoyed an excellent dish of grilled meat. The Malbec was very good and so was the dessert. Very pleasant service. Our... More

My family and I ate at El Foro and it was hands down the best meal during our trip to Spain. It is very child friendly and the staff was so accommodating and friendly. We passed by on our first night and decided to try it another night. I now wish we had eaten there both nights! The salads, fish,... More

Went there for lunch during a week-day. They have menus, during lunch, which are really varied and have great value. They cost 12,90 and include a Primero Plato (a first plate, usually some entrées but there was also for example a Wok with shrimps) and a Secundo Plato (main course, we had a mini parrilada...the meat was fabulous! Tender, juicy... More

We stayed in the K & K Picasso hotel in this area and found that 90% of the eateries were tapas or glorified tapas. It was pleasant to got to El Foro and dine in a restaurant that served good steaks has opposed to finger food. The service from the girls was excellent and we were always brought local liqeurs... Were a company of 4 and we all choose different dishes. My food was okey! I had avocado with shrimps and some seafood croquettes. My sister in law took a dish with fish, sundries tomatoes and... ice cream. It was a very weird combo haha. Our table was outside, in a corner with a very nice view.

Waited over a hour for food and was not satisfied, steak very undercooked almost blue when asked for medium and couldn't eat it. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing but wouldn't go back.

My husband and I went in for tapas and wound up ordering an entire dinner. The food was great! The Argentinian steak and Monkfish were both really good, though the steak was a bit fatty from what I am used to. The pan con tomate was fabulous and the service was too. Not much of a cocktail or beer list... More

Description
"A place where gastronomy, art and culture come together"

An Argentinean restaurant in "El Born", Barcelona

The restaurant has the appearance of a French bistro, the ambience and decor are part of its charm, but above all, what makes it special and what explains the resounding success is that it is an Argentine restaurant in Barcelona, that offers quality –and price.

We offer an extensive menu with meats imported from Argentina, famous for its cut, taste and quality; handmade pastas; pizzas and grilled cheeses (like the famous provolone) . At noon, from Tuesday to Friday, we offer a menu of Mediterranean fusion cuisine, comprising a cream soup followed by a starter ,main course and desserts . Drinks are also included. There are four types of meat on the menu, these include an authentic Argentinean grill called "Criollo", plus another grill from the La Pampa region called "Pampero" and the Patagonian mixed Grill.

The restaurant has a few private rooms for groups, located on the main floor. In the cellar, known as "El Foro Club" is a space available for a more intimate dinner or simply to have a drink.

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants.
