I found this restaurant in TripAdvisor while looking for an Asian restaurant nearby (one can't always eat tapas, can we?) and it didn't disappoint. Excellent Pad Thai and shrimp red curry, with amazing scallops as starters.

My husband and i were recommended to try this Thai restaurant by a friend. It was absolutely delicious. We got the smallest banquet between us and every dish was great. The staff were friendly and quick to assist us as required. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for Thai. - maggie

We couldn't find a restaurant that had room for all 6 of us so we decided to take a chance and a change from Spanish food to try this place. The decor was lovely, peaceful and elegant. I had some of the best Tom Kha Kai soup here. Everything was delicious and the service was very efficient. Because of the... More

Not sure why several others comment about poor service. Maybe we got lucky, but watching all the servers there they all seemed quite friendly and helpful. Our server was great at helping us navigate the menu to our preference toward veggie/vegan foods and in telling us we were ordering too much (he was right and saved us money!). Food was... More

We ate night menu, for 56€/both, and it was complete enough. Good Thai meal. We traveled to Thailand last year and we could remember our nice experience about Thai food, but at center of Bcn. Good quality-price choose. Nice decoration.

Its like an oasis in the middle of the city, you go in and get transferred to another world. Unfortunately, Thailand is still on my bucket list, so can't say how authentic the food is, but I know how I like my Pad Thai, and this place has a really good one. Ordered curry as well, it was ok but... More

Overall this restaurant reminded me of a Benihana. A large cavernous space highly decorated with dining on several levels. Lots of fresh flowers too. However overall something staged and artificial. There was nothing wrong with the food - but it seemed to come off a factory assembly line. We asked for 'hot' and the busy brusque waitress said yes. But... More

Description
In September 1998 Thai Gardens Barcelona opens its doors for the first time. At the time the city lacked thai cuisine restaurants. Opening our doors to the public every single day throughout these past sixteen years, we have seen how the offer of Asian cuisine was growing in Barcelona and how, at the same time, our role as Royal Thai Cuisine ambassadors was being consolidated. Our restaurant is the result of the efforts of a great team that day after day transform any meal in a pleasant moment in the ancient kingdom of Siam.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
