Food was mediocre but okay. Tom ka kai soup very good as well as the satay but the curry we ordered had nothing to do with a curry. What was very bad was the hostess at the entrance, the opposite of hospitality is what she (Nuria) delivers. If I was the owner/manager I would replace her instantly.

I found this lovely Thai restaurant quite by mistake whilst looking for something else and was very pleased I did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with typical Thai decor which is very deceiving from the outside as it has three levels including tables where you can sit on the floor! The food was delicious and staff very attentive.

We went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. We had curry to share with a side of white rice and summer rolls. I had a glass of house red, and we ordered dessert --two coffees and a chocolate dessert with ice cream to share. All was delicious! The bill came to around 50 euros. It's... More

A fun place to visit and the appetizers are delicious. The Pad Thai is not their strongest dish, but their currys are very good. The decor is great and you can ask to sit at one of their sunken tables. It was packed!

From start on the people in service had no clue of hospitality. Service during the evening become better but food was poor! NON-Thailand flavours!

Grand decor but food doesn't match expectations. Tasty but oily and not authentic in the taste/spice. Service was fine.

Thai Barcelona ranks right up there with some of the best Thai I've experienced. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is outstanding and the food is deliscious - tough to beat! I will be back for sure!

Went back to this restaurant after a few years, and you can feel the decline in the quality overall. The place is nicely decorated but I was disappointed to see that the waiters were not wearing anymore the beautiful traditional dresses they used to. The food was bland, overcooked and oily. Not at all reminding of the fragrant, delicate and... More

We were looking for a quick break from the many Spanish tapas, and as lovers of Thai food this seemed a good fit. The restaurant is also nicely decorated. Unfortunately, the food was not great at all. The menu is extensive so it might not all be bad, but the food we ordered had a clear lack of the typical... More

Dishes are presented on a variety of delicate ways, keeping an eye on presentation, sometimes with flowers. I will recommended specially for couples. Service even restaurant is full is fast and accountable on advising,

In September 1998 Thai Gardens Barcelona opens its doors for the first time. At the time the city lacked thai cuisine restaurants. Opening our doors to the public every single day throughout these past sixteen years, we have seen how the offer of Asian cuisine was growing in Barcelona and how, at the same time, our role as Royal Thai Cuisine ambassadors was being consolidated. Our restaurant is the result of the efforts of a great team that day after day transform any meal in a pleasant moment in the ancient kingdom of Siam.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
