It's in my opinion the best tapas restaurant i've tried in Barcelona, within my 1 week stay. Authentic and a very nice and quick service, the food is amazing and very cheap. It's one of the places that reflect the true Spanish TAPAS.

All time favourite of mine. Try the "bombas". Don't expect sophistication this is tapas in its original former, not El Bulli. Nice atmosphere, perhaps a little touristy thanks to good reviews... I still like the place and most guests love it when I take them....More

La Bombeta is famous for their bombas and rightly so! The bombas are a must eat! They are delicious and the highlight of the restaurant. Another amazing dish was the BBQ artichokes. They were chalked full of flavour and the perfect compliment to the bombas!...More

We ate in this restaurant after doing an exhaustive search to find somewhere to eat to please three generations from real foodies to super picky children that didn't want to sit for hours. We were initially skeptical when we arrived because it seems like a...More

Wonderful experience. Near the seafront and 5 min walk from Barceloneta station. English menu available. Had the bombas, chipirones (fried squid), and spanish sausage with peppers. All the dishes were well-thought out, but of course the bombas were the highlight. Lightly fried on the outside,...More

I came here my first night in town and it was a great way to kick off my week in Barcelona. I came here around 8:30pm on a Monday and luckily it was pretty much deserted. My knowledge of Spanish is zilch but I managed...More

Bombas - 2 deep fried balls of potato and meat covered in alioli and salsa!!!! Also loved the Chipirones - deep fried baby squid in batter. Garlic king prawns were a little over cooked and the clams in white wine were on the salty side!...More

We tried several tapas dishes and they were all really good. And the drinks were great as well. The staff did not speak English but we had no problem at all getting around. We went a bit early on a Saturday night so it was...More

A spanish tapas restaurant visited mainly by locals. They do not speak english and don´t have menus in english at all. So a basic knowledge of spanish is neccessary. All tapas we tried were excellent and compared to other places for a very good price....More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in

I think is no way to put the bicycle near the restaurant. I dont know it has changed the situation since. But the street is strait.
