We enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. The menu was quite creative. I had a salad with mangoes and goat cheese that was served in a large glass jar! My husband had a good pasta dish. The outdoor patio was pleasant, and just off of the Placa Reial. If the restaurant had been right on the Placa we probably would have... More

We usually eat here when we visit Barcelona. Its not an upmarket place but the food is always good and we like to sit outside (there are patio heaters if its chilly). Service was fine and our fish was very good. Close to La Ramblas so often busy. Reasonable prices and good wines.

Well I read reviews but got something totally different. The salmon parcel were literally salmon with sweet chilli sauce bumped on top. The calami had way too much squid ink on everything. The farmer sausage was ok but nothing to rav about. Service ok but terrible, lazy food. Way more effort should be placed on the food. I could do... More

We decided to eat here about 8pm on a Wednesday evening. The tasting menu looked interesting so we both decided to try this. The food was tasty, and we were offered a pasta dish instead of a pork dish which regularly causes indigestion. However, while we received 4 of the dishes quite quickly, all 4 were served at once. This... More

Very disappointed in this place after having it recommended by a friend. They ran out of the food we had ordered, and the main course took an hour! Very bad service where waiters had no time other than to tell us food would come in 2 minutes (which actually meant 30 mins!). The wine was not served in a cooler... More

The restaurant is very well located, close to Plaza Real. We dinned there once, and it was very busy and the staff had difficulties serving us. The food was great, but we waited quite a long time to get the bill. We went back there for lunch and the food was once again very good (perhaps avoid the more indian... More

This restaurant is just off placa reial which is the busy hub of Barcelona nightlife. However the quality of the food, decor and service means this is not just another tourist trap of a restaurant. We went twice in our 8 day stay in Barcelona, both times for dinner. Food was great, perfectly executed and nicely presented, house wine at... More

After a morning stroll through Barri Gothic and a visit to the Cathedral, we were in for a nice meal. The day menu at La Crema Canela exceeded expectations - good options to choose from, great flavours (try the vanilla ice cream with mango!) and very kind waitress and waiter. Definite recommendation!

On our first trip to Barcelona we were in the square and noticed a long line for this restaurant. This led us to believe it must be good based on the number of people waiting to get in. We were right, loved the whole experience. Delicious food at a great price. On our next trip there we again ate here... More
