Went here with both of our children, 5 and 10 for dinner and loved the atmosphere. Even that we were on of the first tables, the restaurant filled up rather quickly and soon it became a buzzing place, full of laughter and smiling faces. The...open kitchen concept enhances the overall experience and the smell of great food is there, as soon as you enter. The only reason I did not give it an "Excellent" was our Server. We were not sure if he jumped in, while a lot of tables came at the same time but his knowledge and suggestions were not really helpful. After we ordered, he somehow disappeared and we had to ask random other team members, when we wanted something. This unfortunately affected the overall experience otherwise I have to say, the food was great, Fresh, hot and tasty. We shared many dishes and agreed that all of them were great and special. It was fun, Together with some good wines by the glass, we had a great evening. I know that there are so many places with good food, I would count this one to one of them while the overall experience just felt right.More

Great recommendation from the concierge next door. The food was amazing. Delicious freshly made tapas. The fish was delicious and fresh as was the shrimp and octopus. I will definatly go back.

We were looking for a meal and tried this place. The guys here are really friendly and the food range is fantastic. Something for everyone to be had here. Shame our trip was so short, we'd have gone back a few times. Go there and...enjoy the fresh food from the market right next doorMore

Based in the market, don’t mistake this for somewhere cheap to eat. Appears to be designed to cater to tourists who have come to the quieter market of Sant Caterina. Food was average: certainly not something special. Prices were high: €18.50 for a paella, €5.50...for juice drinks. Particularly irritating was the €1.50 cover charge per person for bread, which in normal restaurants is included. Service was “OK”: felt like they were trying to rush us. Overall, I would go and sit at the bar (also in the market) and have tapas instead: I suspect this would be far better.More

Nice place, nice food, but one of the waiters brought us a bill where he charged a different price for one of the dishes than what the menu said. Couldn’t have been an honest mistake, unfortunately, as you’d have to manually change the price.

This place was recommended in my travel book, but I stumbled on it by chance looking for a stall to eat at the santa catarina market. I was looking for a Tapas bar but since we were starving , you got into the first restaurant...we found in the market. How lucky I was! My wife kept saying: michelin star food! Indeed, the food was high quality, not expected in a “mercat”. All was good, but exceptional was the cod fish carpaccio, really a top restaurant quality.More

We got in for lunch very soon after it opened which was good. It is not small but was soon full. We were able to get a private table though some areas are common seating. Very good quality food sourced from the adjacent market, they...say. Prices fair. Service good but not extraordinary since the venue is big and several servers share responsibility for your table. A comfortable, quiet, good lunch in a busy market.More

We found this place by chance just walking the streets, it is located next to the market but we went there in the evening so the marked was closed. We were looking for something different and this place was perfect, the kitchen prepares your meal...from the world menu and it is served when its cooked, great idea and a lovely atmosphere, try it, something differentMore
