This restaurant is one of my favourite places to eat in Barcelona. The food is consistently good with lots of choices and the prices are very reasonable.

We happened upon this restaurant as we were wandering the market. You need to get there early. Everything we had was excellent. Salmon, sausages and beans. One member of our group was not inspired by the pumpkin ravioli but ordered the sausages and loved them....More

When we first stepped in the place reminded me of a fast food restaurant: big hall with lots of tables. But once we read the menu we decided to stay and did not regret. They have choices for all tastes, from grilled meat to vegetarian,...More

Always great to find a location where mostly the locals eat. Hidden away from the main street in a quite recently rebuild marketplace. Good selection of local specialities (note that real Catalan versions of some dishes are really different, so be in for some surprises)....More

I asked for a flat white and was brought an Americano. I asked for an orange juice and was brought a lemon juice. I asked for eggs Benedict and I was brought 2 poached eggs, thrown next to some rye bread. Avoid.

This cafe/restaurant utilises food from the Santa Caterina market which is much quieter and far classier than the Boqueria tourist trap round the corner. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the menus are all in Spanish and English. The tapas was traditional and...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
