Whenever I am lucky to be in Barcelona, I love to go and drink a txacolí or zurito while enjoying Irati´s pintxos. It will never be as in Euskadi, but it makes me feel a little bit closer to my ancestors homeland and my dearest friends from Donostia.

I see all the negative reviews about tapas and it seems too many people have "tapas for dinner". Tapas is an appetizer that the Spanish cherish with wine, with friends, before going home to dinner. I agree their tapas are not an exclusive dinner item. But it caters to locals, whom mind their budget, regarding this expense. Tapas are all... More

The first rule that anyone must be aware while traveling to Barcelona, is that the place is full of tourist traps, and the closest you get to the Ramblas the closest you get to them...So i was very skeptic of eating here, but when I saw the Trip Advisors reviews and Irati rating I decided to take the leap of... Called in here with a group of friends for a drink, ended up staying for two drinks and eating a ton of tapas. They were all fabulous, we weren't even hungry but out of sheer greed and the fact everything looked delicious we gorged ourselves. We chose from the ones that were out on the bar but the staff also... More

This was so good we went twice in 1 day. Fantastic value at €2 piece. A continual selection appear from kitchen and the best ones are sold before they reach the end of the bar. All locals not a tourist place. The best IMHO are Jamon , filet mignon, pork BBQ etc. sharing say 6-9 with my wife +wine &... More

It was so much fun to pick out the delicious tapas on display at the bar. We bought a bottle of wine, stood up at a bar, and ate salmon, crab, tuna, and other tapas; only $50 for four people! This was a recommendation from a friend, and we just want to pass it on.

We had a great time at this tapas bar. We did the stand up thing and it was great. Location is good and trying to choose from their selection was difficult because it's all so delicious. Going back their today!! Service was brilliant too.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat. The tapas were great and the staff was super friendly. There is a sur down area but we opted for eating standing up at one of the bars.

We reserved a table, after seeing good reviews. On arrival, we were sat next to the only other occupied table. The staff did not seem interested in serving us, and when we asked for tapas, we were told that we had to have tapas at the bar. There was no space at the bar, only in the restaurant at the... More

Barcelona is my favorite city and Irati is my favorite spot for pinxtos. The entire establishment is beautifully presented and maintained. The offerings are very fresh with new options appearing from the kitchen every five minutes or so. It's perfectly located for a lunch stop and I suggest you get there as close to opening as possible. We were always... More
