Okay so you have to wait in line but its small, and bar staff a little stern...and its not open at weekends or late...little more expensive but OMG its worth it. My husband and I spent 5 days in Barcelona and loved this place. Family...run, wide choice of drinks, make the pinchos to order in front of you and the salmon with truffle honey was devine! Chose it first and was so nice couldn't risk trying anything else...but loads that look amazing. You'll stand up and its shoulder to shoulder but just great. seems to be mostly Spanish clientele so tat makes it extra nice and we enjoyed chatting to locals. Recommend 100%More

A person I was traveling with insisted we go here because Anthony Bourdain liked it. That’s about the only charm to this place- a past review. Not until we started ordering did she tell me that everything served is from a can. So basically in...a city on the water with world-class seafood, we were eating from cans. There was nothing outstanding- good smoked sardines. Squid, peppers, asparagus- all good from a can. All this and lukewarm-to-disdainful service.More

This is a stand-up place with exceptional ponchos and tapas made to order. It's tiny but hugely popular. Everything I tried was excellent. They also sell an alcohol infused custard. Excellent! This place is well worth a visit!

So pleased we found the time to visit this wonderful tapas bar. Small and standing only but exquisite in every way. Great food, atmosphere, service and limitless choice of wine - and just about the cleanest place you’re likely to find. Good value for money...too. This will definitely be on my visit list, next time I’m in BarcelonaMore

We came to this place off of a recommendation from a friend that lives in Barcelona and while we liked the atmosphere of being scrunched together at the bar and in an old, tapas bar setting, it can get a little rough on the feet...if you've been out sightseeing all day in uncomfortable shoes. The ventresca de atun was great and the salmon with honey and mojama were our top montaditos. They serve a lot of things out of cans but they're quality ingredients. I'd recommend this place more for a snack or to stop in and have a glass of wine and one or two montaditos versus an entire dinner standing up like we did.More

Just for a quick bite and bibles, it’s not a place for a Maine meal . There is not hot tapas, most of ingredients are from cans foods. Pan con tomato was using very dry bread , more harder than cracker . And it’s not...that cheap place .More

TIP: Get there early! After reading so many good reviews, we decided to go around 5.50PM and wait until it opened at 6PM... glad we did! The place is a very small standing-only tapas bar with liquors covering all walls, very cool. Everything we tried...here were good, especially the Smoked Salmon + Greek Yogurt + Truffle Honey... my gosh, this menu is a MUST!More

We arrived by the door at 7 and were able to get in there as soon as they opened. Almost everything is from can but it's great. The young woman working there is a character and we specially enjoy her company while she is instructing...people with their orders. They have good wine as well. Make sure you order their blue cheese tapas with jam.More

Highly recommend! Squeeze in and go with it. Get the food, the drinks and enjoy. It's all fabulous! Great atmosphere and lots to look at with bottles lining the wall. Share a table with others and get to know real tapas culture.

with no hesitation, best tapas ever!!!. Small place, always crowded, people waiting in line but it is absolutely worth it. The artichokes with anchovies, the salmon with truffled honey, the foie gras, the drink menu... all superb! Family-owned business for over 100 years, served by...the very owners in a great atmosphere.More

No. There are no tables and no chairs. It's more like a shop with a bar. But it's really small. You just walk in from the street. Can be crowdy but the food is worth it.

If you're a group (more than 20) I strongly reccomend you to go to Opera Samfaina in orther to get a general impression of Catalonia (about tapes). Quimet & Quimet is "good" for couples, lately is more people with cameras... More
