After all the hype we were really excited to finally get a table. The night before there was an enormous queue and as it already 9pm we went elsewhere. However we came back for lunch the next day and were seated at a nice table for 2 outside. The waitress who served us was an Oriental lady and not very... More

My friend and I happened to be walking along La Rambla and entered into Plaza Reial. There was a small market in the plaza that day, and after walking around, we decided to have lunch at Les Quinze Nits. We ordered sangria, pesto pasta and croquettes (and café con leche after the sangria, naturally). The service was not great, but... More

We happened upon the Placa Reial Barcelona. The plaza is an oasis in the Gothic Quarter with palm trees and the whole area surrounded by restaurants with indoor and outdoor tables . We ere relatively early at 7:30 so managed to get in straight away but by the time we left people were lined up. It's an excellent venue for... More

Food is quite good, but not impresive for the very long queue you have to wait, there are a lot of places in Barcelona better, service is correct but not anything that should be mentioned. For sure is a good option if you are in Barcelona Center and you don't know where to go cause is your first time in... More

We enjoyed our meal apart from the dismissive service. If we'd been 2 young females, it might have been better!

You may think that the food would be really good here based on the number of people waiting in line, but it's just cheap and that's why people want to eat here (same with all the Grupo Andilana chain restaurants). It's an okay spot for lunch, where you can sit outside on a nice day, but definitely don't wait in... More

While the restaurant itself is quite nice and works hard to maintain it's classy demeanor, it is located in what has become a tacky tourist square that detracts from it's elegance somewhat. I had lunch there, and the food was rather mediocre (as restaurants this fancy looking go) but for the price they charged, it was perfectly acceptable. I had... More

A great great value for money for the lunch menu. Always a BIG line, but for a reason. Tourists AND locals... ANd more to get a table on the terrace with view on the nices place in Barcelona. Waiting is worth it. Food is great quality (since many years). and prices are very good. Go for it

We visited this place on our last night in Barcelona, which was one of the restaurants that our hotel receptionist recommended. We got there and there was a little queue which meant we waited for 15 mins or so for a table outside. But the food was worth the wait. The service was on point and the food was absolutely... More

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighborhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
