After more than twenty years, La Fonda is still a good option when choosing a restaurant for lunch or dinner, and don't spent a lot of money. It's dishes are quite familiar, although with it's special point. In this occasion, we choose patatas bravas with...More

The food is quite average. We had rockfish soup and seafood paella. Neither of these two impressed us. In terms of service, it’s so far the worst we had in Barcelona. After we sat down, we waited for 15 mins and no one came to...More

We had a very memorable meal here for my partners birthday. It’s busy, functional and efficient and the food was delicious. The very acceptable house wine was €9 per litre which was great value too. We had one set meal and one main course between...More

ate here on Friday 30th November. The place was really busy, which we took as a good sign, and we didn't have to wait long for a table but that was about as good as it got. A waiter tried to take our order before...More

I haven’t been here in a year, but the food is good and the service is ok. Don’t go at busy times, you may have to wait for a table. I recommend this place in the Gothic.

The food was good, rock fish soup and chicken pesto salad both yummy. Long line up, but good, is worth for wait. But service was really bad. The waitress just like never look at us, even we were ordering food. We like invisible! We order...More

Clean and stylish interior, great food at very reasonable prices. House vine is nice and inexpensive. But this place could benefit from better service. Don’t expect anyone to check on you and ask how are you doing. They didn’t offer us bread or water, when...More

Friends of ours recommended this restaurant to us before our trip to Barcelona. So glad we followed their advice. Good food, good wine, friendly staff and good price. We had a meal there on five of our seven nights and kept on going back.

Went here for a quick business dinner at the recommendation of my hotel and it did not disappoint. I'll skip all the pleasantries and just say: Eat the slow-roasted lamb. That is all. Just do it. You will not be disappointed. You're welcome.
