Late service for us at this restaurant. The place has its charm inside but the food is kind of uninteresting. The price is ok but don't expect to live THE experience! By authentic I mean for example that they were only able to propose one desert (because of the late hour) and when I asked what it was, the guy... More

Great drinks, awesome tapas, and the vibe is local and authentic. The seating outside is nice, but try sitting inside to experience the cool, old, Barcelona. The tuna with tomato is delicious, as is the jamon. Service can be aloof, but I've been here twice on two separate trips, and this time it was friendly (though we were with our... More

We have dined here a couple of times - once for lunch and more recent,y for dinner. It is a short walk away from the popular Cerverceria Catalan and the queues are not as bad. The menu is different but the food is just as good in my view. Service is more friendly and I prefer the ambience here.

This is a venue we would recommend for all travellers to experience the Tapas Spanish style. Great food and local wines, ambience has a strong local vibe and a manager that is humorous in his dealing with diners.

If you're in the Exiample district then you must go to La Bodegueta. My wife and I visited this charming restaurant on the recommendation of the bell boy at our hotel and it lived up to our request (a nearby authentic Spanish tapas restaurant). Friendly and quick service, great food and good atmosphere. Buck the urged to sit outside and... More

A great place, typical Spanish atmosphere, wonderful tapas. La Rambla has a lot of bad tourists-restaurants, but this one stands out.

We went there for dinner after reading the reviews. They have a bit a special queuing system. You give them your first name, they write it down and work off the queue like this. Luckily, a table just became free when we where there and we did not have to wait while others were waiting for quite a while, probably... More

This place gets 12/10 for genuineness. The food is great - the kitchen can be seen from the entrance to the toilets. Both are tinny but you have to applaud the chefs for such great food from such a small facility We were a group of the and demolished 12 tapas plates none of which disappointed

Thank andy o

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
