They sell their own coffee and also you can just enjoy it there while you eat some sweet pastry, the croissant was incredibly tasty. The place is cozy and with minimal decoration. Everything is quiet and calm, so you can enjoy a relaxing break.

My family and I stopped here multiple times during our trip to Barcelona (and even took a bag of beans for home). The baristas were very pleasant and kind. We were pleased with every varietal we tried as pour-overs, and also with the espresso drinks. This should be a stop for any coffee lover.

I love my coffee, so I go out of my way to find good coffee when I visit new cities.
Onna Coffee is simply the best coffee I have tasted during my visits to Barcelona.
Also, the almond croissant is a great way to start your day!
Can't wait to visit again.

The best specialty coffee in Barcelona, hands down. Great coffee and great barista skills to put it to use.

The owner is the most inflexible barista I ever met and also quite rude. Other baristas in Onna are much nicer than the owner I have to say (thanks to them!) I understand that the coffee recipe is sacred for coffee lovers but some people don’t like strong coffee...and he would never make a coffee with half shot for his clients. I would just recommend the place for people who like strong coffee.

ONNA COFFEE
Onna Coffee is a very well known coffee shop in Gracia. It has been there for more than 5 years, being one of the pioneers in Barcelona before this wave of new openings in the city. Located in a quiet, yet very well connected street in Gracia (just a few minutes walk from Diagonal Metro Station) - those guys know what they are doing.
Also owners of their roastery in Poblenou, they select and roast their single origin coffee, having them available to drink in espresso and filtered methods - batch brew and V60. Usually they have 2 beans for espresso, which we love: one of the greatest espresso we have ever drunk in BCN was there - a very floral Ethiopian!
For food you can have sandwiches and sweets: they always have the sweet of the day which are always amazing. Today they were offering a Lemon Cupcake.
Working in Onna can be a good option as well if you are in the neighbourhood. Free WIFI and the shop has a special, more reserved place behind designed to computers. This way, their front tables remain to people coming and going.
Quality was great today. We ordered the combo: flat white and 2 espressos. One from Guatemala, and the other was a very fruity and sweet brazilian! Perfect match!

Thanks to Dimitri, once again topping off my Barcelona experience with delicious Oatly latte and golden milk for my friend. Always worth a stop when you are in BCN!

We found this coffee shop after a long walk in Gracia street. my wife tried a hot chocolate and I preferred a Espresso , both were very tasty with a good quality of coffee. my wife ordered another one for my son as he tried a sip of the first one and found it very good. the only personal comment from my wife is about the 1st hot chocolate which was not hot enough , but my son's was great. the coffee man ( I forgot his name) was very friendly and nice.

Coffee offering was pretty average with some good non-dairy options. The food section was minimal pastries and the service was not the best.

I enjoyed a coffee and egg/avocado sandwich here. The coffee here is definitely nicer than I’ve had around this part of Europe.

So, would a smile kill you? Would a general greeting or basic interaction without looking pained really be so hard?
Look, the coffee was good. At the risk of sounding like a Sydney coffee snob, the third wave coffees have a long way to go in Europe still but there are certainly gems. Is this place there yet? No. Do they think they are? Yes.
We left and went to Billy Brunch instead. Great decision.
Improved staff would actually make this little place great. Hopefully management will look into it.

Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
