We have been fans of Spanish cuisine for some time. And Catalan cuisine too. We have been telling friends and acquaintances that, pound sterling for Euro, Spain offers better value than France. So, on our first visit to Barcelona which has included ‘Overnights’ for many years we wanted to eat somewhere special. We invested time and energy in our choice,... More

Been there few days ago for a romantic dinner. We went for the 4 course menu (they also have a 6 course menu) with wine pairing and cheese course. It is definitely enough to be full. As there are several appetizers and pre desert, the number of courses is closer to 10 smaller ones. One minor deficiency is that it... More

This place is a MUST. The food was outstanding, the service was extremely good and attentive but it wasn't intrusive which is difficult to balance and they did it just right. The food courses are served for the entire table and they explain everything. We had the option of including the wines and we did it, it was well worth... More

This restaurant received rave reviews from Trip Advisor customers so we thought we'd give it a try.....It didn't open until 1:30pm on a Sunday afternoon and we had to be back at our ship for a 4:00 pm departure....We opted for the four course pre fixed lunch along with a bottle of wine.....Not a single serving could be considered outstanding... I was treated to dinner here by a client, and it really was astonishing - six courses with wine flight, and every dish was an adventure. Smoked anchovy starter which was served under a cloche brought a smile to everyones face, and the foie gras and beef dishes were also excellent. The drinks served with each course were also stunning,... More

We experienced dinner here for our fifth anniversary and it was the perfect location for this occasion. We ordered the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings and like its name suggests (Cinq Sentits translates to Five Senses), every dish was an exquisite journey through taste, smell, texture, and beauty (the sounds were mostly us say "oh my god, this is... Great food and great service. All foreign tourists... nuevo fusion type cuisine. We loved it. Looks like most new barcelona food basically incorporates lots of Kaiseki elements. Given the ingridients, beauty and culture of the city, it makes all the sense.

Loved this restaurant, one of the best dinners I've ever had. Went for the full tasting menu and they recommended a bottle of red to match... The food was fantastic... from mini tapas to the never ending starters there was loads and loads of flavour. I love bread and the bread here was amazing, lovely butter and different tasty olive... Description
Awarded a Michelin star since 2008, and rated #1 for food in Barcelona by Zagat, Cinc Sentits has created a buzz in Barcelona. Prodigal chef Jordi Artal's playful experiments with Catalan tastes, aromas, textures, layers, and sensations is cutting edge stuff. He recommends the seasonal tasting menu, letting each course bring a new and exciting sensation to your palate. There is a 6-course and a shorter 4-course version of the menu, both available with an optional wine pairing. All this, plus professional yet friendly multilingual service in a modern setting.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
