This is one of the best meals I've ever had. I rank it up there with Le Bernadin in New York. The chef is an artist with food, thus its Michelin rating. There is just one seating at dinner and only 10 tables. Friendly service. We went with the six course tasting menu which is actually more than 6 dishes.... More

Took the large tasting menu with wine pairing. Food was exceptional, with two or three dishes outstanding. Food wise this restaurant deserves two Michelin stars and not just the one they have. Winepairing was also exceptional, with food and wine raising each other to higher levels. This should always be the case, but at Cinc Sentits they really succeeded. Also... More

Cinc Sentits claims to be one of Barcelona’s best restaurants. They have impeccable table service, beautiful presentation and over thought food. It feels as if it should be in New York or London but in Barcelona it is over the top. O believe it was three times more expensive than any other meal we ate in Barcelona and while all... More

This is a must for gourmands/foodies! We ordered the 4 course prix fix and had a total of 14 small food items. Then they send you home with a book listing all the food and wine you had that evening. Small contemporary restaurant with excellent service and the food!!

Have read recent reviews: that rave about this restaurant. We had a horrible experience: bad service, actually rude, terrible service, average food. so many more fabulous restaurants in Barcelona, This is one to avoid, in our opinion.

The staff were very friendly and responsive by email when planning the dinner and had laid rose petals across our table as I had told them it was my girlfriend's birthday. Food was exceptional, a really interesting twist on traditional Catalan cuisine using expertly sourced ingredients and small production cheeses and wines, a few of which are produced specially for... I went to this restaurant two weeks ago and waited a while before writing the review so that I wasn't too "emotional." Food - it was OK. The dishes were way too small and after paying 100 euros for the menu I was still hungry. Price - Like I said, it isn't enough food for the price you pay. Plus,... More

OMG! I have been to some restaurants that were "must go" places with tasting menus and a price to match, but Cinc Sentits made every last one of them pale in comparison. The price was no better or worse than, say, the late lamented Cyrus in Healdsburg, CA, but the experience actually exceeded even that mighty challenge. It is well... More

This place is one of the best around the globe. The menu is daring and innovative, the service in nearly without parallel, and the presentation rivals the artistry found nearly everywhere in the city of Barcelona. Everything was delicious (with one exception... an oyster that was so large as to be nearly inedible in any polite way, and the taste... More

We had dinner at Cinc Sentits and it was a great experience. The food was excellent and the service was superb. The setting is very nice. They certainly deserve their Michelin star and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Awarded a Michelin star since 2008, and rated #1 for food in Barcelona by Zagat, Cinc Sentits has created a buzz in Barcelona. Prodigal chef Jordi Artal's playful experiments with Catalan tastes, aromas, textures, layers, and sensations is cutting edge stuff. He recommends the seasonal tasting menu, letting each course bring a new and exciting sensation to your palate. There is a 6-course and a shorter 4-course version of the menu, both available with an optional wine pairing. All this, plus professional yet friendly multilingual service in a modern setting.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
