When our menus were playfully delivered as part of a lamp, we knew this would be for us. Then began the sensory expedition that kept us smiling and our palettes buzzing all night. So many memorable moments, including a salty sweet maple syrup "shot" that we could have guzzled from a pint glass. A grouping of five appetizers that was... More

Cinc Sentis was amazing. Food / service / ambiance. We are foodies and have eaten at the best restaurants in NY / London / Paris etc and Cinc Sentis is in our top 5 without a doubt. The way they incorporate "5 senses" with a wide variety of place settings and food textures really lives up to the name and... More

Visited Barcelona earlier this year and thought we would treat ourselves to a top notch meal. A bit of research beforehand and we'd decided on Cinc Sentits. From start to finish the whole experience was absolutely wonderful - one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we've had. Superb, inventive use of local produce paired with some excellent and unusual wines.... More

From the moment we booked there were emails exchanged regarding our food allergies, my wife only eats vegetarian food or shell fish. After clarifying over multiple mails we agreed on the outline of the meal. Then when I reached Barcelona another activity had to be accommodated and I requested for shifting a Friday dinner to a Saturday lunch. They were... More

We had the wine pairing 6 course lunch. Wonderful selection of starters. The anchovy smoked with rosemary made me revise my view of anchovies. The Foi gras and the Squab for main course were inspired. The wine pairing was well thought out and the wines were on the whole very good and extremely well selected to compliment the food. Where... From the start when i emailed for a reservation, made for my second date choice, sofia asked if there were any food allergies or dislikes. I dont like foie gras which is one of their signature courses and emailing back and forth i selected scallop. My friend said the best foie gras she ever ate and my scallop was delicious.... More

Had the 4 course taster menu. gorgeous glass of Cava-never had nicer! Attentive staf, who were amazingly accommodating for my vegetarian friend- but to avoid all meat meant we could only have the 4 course. all courses amazing, loved how they were inspired by catalonia- particularly the home grown tomatoes. and the maria galleta cookie in a tube! so unique.... Bringing together a new take on Catalan food, the restaurant boast of local produce and creative innovative cuisine. However what sets this apart is an excellent delivery of spanish cuisine. Each dish was well executed. A feast to the eyes and achieving a fine balance of flavors and textures. From their take on the traditional tapas, to simple dishes like... More

We were unaware of any Michelin stars but were recommended this Resturant by a couple of people so managed to get a booking for dinner. Taster menus only, but a truly superb experience. There are different options for different taster menus and wine pairing too. The staff are fantastic, very welcoming, incredibly knowledgable and passionate about the produce and are... More

Awarded a Michelin star since 2008, and rated #1 for food in Barcelona by Zagat, Cinc Sentits has created a buzz in Barcelona. Prodigal chef Jordi Artal's playful experiments with Catalan tastes, aromas, textures, layers, and sensations is cutting edge stuff. He recommends the seasonal tasting menu, letting each course bring a new and exciting sensation to your palate. There is a 6-course and a shorter 4-course version of the menu, both available with an optional wine pairing. All this, plus professional yet friendly multilingual service in a modern setting.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
