My finance and her family and I came here for our engagement celebration. It's a more up market restaurant so we thought it would be nice for the occasion. We were right. The location was lovely being set back from the beach. The food was delicious. Between us we have the John Dory, the Hake Fillet and the Garlic Veal... More

We went here in August with our family of 5. We did not have a reservation, so we had to eat inside, but the food was terrific. We had the fresh tomato salad and a special green beans (more like fava beans) salad too – awesome! For dinner we went with the salt baked fish – it was very fresh... More

Amazing food and amazing experience. I've been back 6 times and the food is just as good. Even though it has become a bit touristy, this is still one of my favorites on a business trip. Order the fish baked in salt, it is amazing. I have never had a bad meal there, everything is great and with excellent service!

Had a reservation on the terrase. Heavy rain and cold temperatures led me too insist on an inside table. Afte 1/2 hour we were seated and boy I am glad we did. Excellent foie gras, oysters and a brilliant John Dory. Had a decent Priorat and we were go to go. Really nice beach side restaurant.

Wife and I made reservations online for terrace and was glad we did as they were turning away people with no reservations on a Friday night. Paella Can Majo was delicious and after two bottles of the house wine we were happy and listened to a swing band right on the beach in front of us. Waiters were attentive and... More

The service was terrible..arrived having made a booking and was ignored by members of staff time after time. The staff were very rude. The food was nice however nothing special and was disappointed having read previous reviews. Much better places in town

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
