We didn't plan to eat here, but it was an unexpected surprise. We stepped into this romantic gothic place with soft lights and cute atmosphere. The food was great, we ordered duck and tasted few starters (the goat cheese and vegetable timbal was super nice) and wine was a Syrah tramp 2014 which accompanied the meal perfectly. Desserts are delicious,... More

This place was fabulous with excellent service. The Catalan sausages were the best I've had and reminded me of a posh version of boerewors. The carpaccio was out of this world - the best I've had.

We were going to a restaurant nearby that turned out to be closed, so we ended up here instead. It turned out to be one of our favorites restaurants from our trip. Delicious entrees, the jamon was fantastic. Salads were all very fresh and delicious, and very tasty local bread. Very nice ambiance as well. Highly recommend.

We booked to eat outside - the tables are set up in the square adjacent. On one side performers may play music, one brought his dog to drink from the fountain at one side.. and down the alley you can see the backstage of a theatre, drama and fire and all kinds of things to entertain. The food is great... More

We had a bit of trouble finding the restaurant, so allow a little time as it is behind the old Roman wall in the Barri Gotic. Charming, local ambiance with small tables. The food and wine were fantastic and waitstaff were lovely.

The restaurant is hidden away on the corner of Placa St Just. The food is first rate and outstanding presentation. The poached cod with pistachio and the orange duck confit were each one of the best ever eaten. The atmosphere and ambiance were a refuge from the hectic activity in the old town. Highly recommended.

The food was below average, we had different dishes where all plates served were much below average. I was very disappointed with the quality of food, although the location is nice.

We walked here from our hotel at Port Vell on the recommendation of a friend. What a treat to walk into the Gothic quarter and find this jewel, just off a small Plaza. We had made a reservation, which I strongly recommend, as this place draws big crowds at both its early and late settings. The menu is changed daily,... More

Great back-street, dark, authentic restaurant in Barcelona. The spinach/parmesan salad was just awesome. Ditto for the crispy camembert cheese tapa. Ditto for the razor clams. Attentive service. Outside seating, surrounded by ancient buildings available but probably only if you get there early. In Fodor's Guide, so there were a few tourists, but many locals, too, so it didn't feel touristy... More

We were sent here by the concierge at the Mercer just round the corner, and it didn't disappoint. Crowded, buzzy, bistro-style seating. Food was excellent local cooking. I would definitely go back tomorrow.
