The staff here are rude and racist. From the moment we were seated, our waitress shouted at us aggressively and in a derogatory manner. The food was inedible and when we asked for it be to be taken back to the kitchen the staff began speaking about us in Spanish, not knowing I speak the language and could understand them... More

We´ve had table outdoor and ordered Pizza Tonno and a Mixed Fish Plate (Mixto Plancha), which is the most expensive Fish Plate they are currently offering 15.50, (we paid more than 17 EUR since it was served outside - we somehow didn´t see the supplement note...strange). The Fish Plate was a real disaster: 2 shrimps a tiny piece of swordfish... More

This was close to our hotel and had a good selection on the menu. After watching three waiters/waitresses pass our table continually I finally had to stop one to get our drinks ordered. They all seemed in a hurry but at 6pm there were very few people there (2 or 3 tables outside and only one other table inside )..... More

The restaurant looked appealing from the outside with reasonable prices, we went in and were greeted by a surly waiter. When the food came it was a massive disappointment - my pasta with Gorgonzola had an insipid white sauce that had no cheese flavour and my partner's salad was small. The beer was watery and flat. Avoid.

We visited the other Al passatore in January and found it ok. Finding ourselves in a flat above number 8 and watching the footie we decided to go for a carry out. I nipped down and ordered the bufola, four cheeses and vegetariana. Excellent pizzas prepared in a wood burning oven ready in 5 mins. I was impressed by the... More

Came here with my girlfriend. We ate a starter (pasta with cheese), a main dish (a beautiful steak with fries) + dessert (cheesecake + chocolate mousse) all of this for 8,50 pp. Dont listen to bad reviews, the place is often crowded, thats why the waitresses cant pay attention to everything

as an italian i'm ashamed that there still are this kind of places around, the food wasn't good end presented ridiculously. The pizza dough was like rubber, its a shame that in a beautifull location, there's people who doesn't have any passion in food and service. The interior are old and the place smell like sweat, the staff is bored... More

After 5 days with tapas, we needed something else. Chinese looking waiter, spanish wine as house wine and no Italian touch. Food did not meet my expansion of Italian food. Dessert with two different prices on the same menu card. Even if told to the waiter - you have to pay for the most expensive. Coffee is from Segafredo -... More

The place offered use an unforgettable experience: 1) we were attended by 3 different waiters, and one of them really needs to change job 2) they must have forgotten to go food shopping today as they did not have 2 of the 5 dishes we ordered 3) we ordered two starters, after we finished the first starter he brought the... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
