Seek out Citizen Cane and go for brunch. I had Avo stack. Gorgeous sourdough toast, salad, poached egg. Simple ingredients well prepared and presented. The waitress was so warm and friendly. I can’t wait to go back

Based on the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to come to Citizen Cafe as it was close to where we were staying and had good reviews. We visited twice but the experiences were quite different. The first time was on a Sunday morning where we...managed to get one of the last tables - it was only around 10am but very busy. We had a very friendly and efficient waitress who recommend we try and the dirty Chai Latte (its a chai latte with a shot of coffee) and her recommendation was spot on - my husband had the pancakes and I had the french toast which was really tasty - it was a great experience all round. On the Tuesday before our flight we decided to return for breakfast and it was quite a different experience. It was quieter then Sunday but service was quite slow, and I ordered the french toast again (as I enjoyed it so much on the Sunday), but it didn't taste the same at all (it was sweeter on our last visit where this time had a more savoury taste). I would recommend you try Citizen Cafe as it may have just been an off day on the Tuesday, but suggest going on a Sunday, and I definitely recommend the dirty chai latte.More

Very good place for a tasty Sunday breakfast. Despite crowds- manages to feel laid back. Good service and reasonable value for the money

Best coffee we have had so far in Barcelona. As a Master Barista of Sca I am somewhat picky when it comes to my coffee. Thumbs up 👍🏻 Really nice brunch menu with delicious pancakes and tasty bagels. Really good work close to a 5...but still a short way up to that rating.More

We ordered Pancakes with scrambled eggs and smoked bacon for both of us. The Coffee is very good, but it is the Juice you should order. Freshly pressed and mixed, with a strong fruity taste. The Pancakes are homemade and the portions look smaller then...they are. we were very satisfied! The ambiente looks lovely, lots of furniture are made of wood, chilling sound in the background and the waiters are unbelievebly friendly if you look at the amount of work they have. would eat here again!More

Packed little brunch place near Urquinon plaza. I would recommend getting there early to avoid the wait. The food was flavorful and the servers were attentive

First stop once arriving in Barcelona and i wasn’t disappointed. I had the pulled pork nachos and my husband had the pulled jackfruit sandwich. We both enjoyed our dishes. Their fresh beet juice drink was good as well

Nice place for brunch! The stuff was verry nice and understanding - my bf found coriander/cilantro in his dish and got it replaced with something else.
