Popped in for lunch, two courses for 14 euros, very reasonable. Excellent service and food delicious, alth0ugh preferred prawn tacos to main course of pork. Beer on tap great too. Nice to sit and watch the world go by!

Really good potatoes, beer and coffee! The service was incredibly friendly and very comunicative! We had a really good time and I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! Great experience!

This bar/restaurant was around the corner from our hotel & was always packed out. It had a lovely feel & ambience with very large portions of tapas. Delicious food & friendly staff. We did have some beggars come over to us asking for money whilst...eating but it didn't put us off.More

La Monroe is a restaurant of tapas located in the old town of Barcelona. It is a modern place, where you can taste and share some modern tapas like nachos (ok), croquettes (very good), padron peppers (a typical spanish tapa) and patatas bravas (the sauce...was not so good) and I drank an Inedit beer. Good, not more. A place in the average.More

We were placed outside at terrace a cold evening and when we wanted to enter the inside they didn't come for service in 20 minutes so we went away

We were in Barcelona for 5 days. During those 5 days we ate out all the time. This restaurant was the only one left to remember. In it we tasted the true Spanish culture. The waiters are Precool. If you want to relax and try...something at home you do not have. This is the right place for you. Listen to the waiter when he chooses dishes. So much fun we did. I've been thinking about restaurant days already. There everything is easy for you. Quartet restaurant with very delicious food.More

Ate here this evening on recommendation of our hotel. Absolutely wonderful meal.... Food, service and atmosphere all amazing, and very reasonably priced. I can't recommend any one particular dish because everything we all has was absolutely delicious. We went with the waiters recommendation on some...things and we weren't disappointed. Lovely buzzy restaurant but not too noisy as the accoustice are really good.More

In Raval area next to filmoteca you can find this movie-inspired bar. Nice staff great atmosphere, in the evening. They serve a “wow” plate of nachos, but everything looks tasteful and the portions are not greedy... Nice place to stop over when strolling through Raval...- walking distance from Rambla.More

Definitely going back to this place once I return to Barcelona. Good food, ok staff. My partner and I sat with two other guests because there was not enough place - it is something you can expect there on Saturday evening!

We were there for dinner, with two teenage kids. Very good food and very good vibes. Although the bathroom looks like public toilet. We enjoyed our time and good value for money.

We eat here three times in a four night stay - underlining how much we enjoyed the place. The nachos for starters are really good. The veal is delicious. Each night the place was lively and busy. Main age group is mid twenties, but really...caters for all ages. Staff are helpful and generally friendly, but they are very busy so customers need to be patient to enjoy fully.More

Great food, but extremely rude waiters and THE WORST service ever in Europe. I have never experienced something like this anywhere in my whole life. First meal out in Barcelona and the biggest disappointment ever :( My mistake was I didn't know you cannot order...a la carte during the lunch hours (or can you?), but after asking the waitress (my first question) is it possible to order anything else except the things from daily menu, she could have said - NO - but instead, she made me order something from the daily menu and later trying to make me look stupid explaining I can only order daily at that time of the day and repeatedly asking me "Do I speak English?" (while she obviously doesn't) and in the end when I wanted to pay she just ran out from the restaurant (frustrated??) pointing me to the other waiter (who didn't served me) to pay to him - and he said he didn't speak English, repeating "pagar, pagar, I don't understand English" .... ?!? I never expected something like this to happen in the middle of Barcelona, one of the places which lives from tourism, especially because I also come from a touristic country and work in service industry. So sad ... Anyways, at least - good work in the kitchenMore

We were recommended by the hotel and it didn’t disappoint. We had aubergine and yum gazpacho type dippy thing and monster nachos, lovely staff. We went back a second night.

You should stumble upon this place and soak up the chill vibes inside. In addition to great and reasonably priced food and delicious house wine, a big shout out to our server. For the life of me, I can’t remember her name, but this Peruvian...girl showed us what a top notch service is and gave extra flair, spice and love to our dining experience! Thank you for that, you were AWESOME! We tried multiple dishes according to her recommendations and all were delish and generously portioned. Eat here!More

A great place to get away from the hustle of the main tourist areas and relax after a long business day. Cool and relaxed place, friendly and helpful staff. Good food and drinks.
