We visited for my wife's 50th. It is in the Gothic area of Barcelona - slightly off the beaten track. We had a lovely chicken and vegetable paella served by David the waiter (great personality!). He recommended a Galician wine which was really nice. A...More

The food was well cooked and the staff were both helpful and kind. Other diners were local people and seemed to be regular customers. Having read about the celebrations of calçot season in Catalonia I was pleased to find them on the menu. The lesson...More

The staff was very nice, they agreed to offer dinner at 23.45 , normally all is close. They offer a great meal and all fish was super fresh. It is a nice spot to repeat

We made a reservation for dinner at 8:30pm and the restaurant was almost empty but after 9pm it started getting crowded (remember Spanish eat after 9pm). A place for locals, not touristic. Located in a nice little street in the city center, this restaurant offer...More

We ordered a Paella. Now, we know they take long... but it took them almost an HOUR to get our food to us. We were really hungry and ordered a Pan con tomate while we were waiting and they didn't bring that out either. I...More

We stopped here for lunch, and I finally had a good seafood paella as part of a deal involving entree, drink, and dessert. The restaurant is pretty dark, and that definitely took away from the ambiance. Nevertheless, I got my seafood paella, and I would...More

The place actually looks inviting from the outside and the staff is not unkind, but the food is mainly dishes which has been heated in the microwave and probably arrived there frozen. It was a real disappointment, especially considering that there are much more attractive...More

We enjoyed our lunch and compared to the prices displayed in the area felt the price was more than reasonable and good value. The price was 15 Eur for a selection of tapas and a drink. We had a nice variety of food, the plates...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
