Referring to the recommendations of my beloved Urbanspoon, we tried Dolci Parole for dinner in June 14. It was rated quite highly at the time. We were lucky enough not to need a booking, but we did turn up at 7.30pm. The pasta was divine. We all had different meals and all four of us were happy with our choices.... More

Had a lovely meal with my old Uni friends tonight, the food is excellent. I truly recommend the melanzana and the vitello tonno... Just as good as in Rome.

Based on positive reviews we decided to take our parents here as a treat, however the evening did not go as we hoped. The place looks decent enough and they recommended a nice wine, but we had to wait a while to be seated, even tho the restaurant was not busy. Our main problem was that half the people received... Disgusted with this restaurant. Got ravaoili and got 5 pieces of pasta, when complained manager took plate and returned with exact same portion. My boyfriend got lasagna and it was cold.We returned it and saw the staff reheat it in microwave and it was still cold!Staff had bad attitude, avoid this restaurant!

This new italian restaurant really deliver. There are three important things that i normally seek in a restaurant and that is food, atmosphere and location. It delivers in all three parts and its good value for money in a not too touristic area. The pastas they serve here is my favourites, and the dessert pannacotta is amazing, try it. If... More

It was not only the excellent location, the nice atmospher and the good service, food was great! It is one of few Italian restaurants were you can enjoy typical Italian dishes out of the usual pasta and pizza. It was an amazing experience and we will certainly go again every time we go back to Barcelona

Friendly, good service and excellent dinner! Easily recognizable excellent Italian management. All the dishes we tried, are authentically Italian and even improved! Try Dolci Parole Salad, Carpaccio, hamburguer or their desserts like Tiramisú or Panna Cotta

I've traveled to Barcelona many times over the years. Great city, charming people, superb gastronomy. My latest discovery is Dolci Parole, a small and very personal Italian restaurant in center Barcelona, runned by one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Claudio makes you feel at home from the first minute, greeting you with sincere joy as soon as he... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
