Brilliant ice creams here! Fresh and light. Staff always really polite. You can get a large or small cons but in reality the small is actually a pretty big portion. If you're in Born head down!

With a wide variety of gelatos and sorbets, Snömelk is a hidden gem in the middle of Barri Gotic. The ice cream is home made and the store interior reflects high quality. We hope to visit again some day.

Me, my wife and our kids have eaten a lot of icecream around the world. Snömelks version is somewhere in our top 5. The icecream bar is really well designed and the name Snömelk, which comes from the nordic languages and means Snow-Milk, is fantastic. We had 6 different flavours and they all fullfilled our expectations after reading the reviews... More

We tasted a series of their gelatos, and our favourites turned out to be the grape-mint, the peach, the passionfruit, and the vanilla. Unfortunately, this day, the lemon sorbet tasted a little artificial, and they were out of chocolate icecream and cones - and I normally prefer a chocolate scoop and a cone.... But the icecreams were so incredibly good... More

Excellent ice cream where you see pieces of lemon in your lemon sorbet, vanilla bean in your vanilla ice cream. Definitely a must if you are around.

I really liked the interior! Minimalistic and stylish! And the ice cream is just delicious. Pistachio was my favorite. Loved the stools just out the door where you can seat and enjoy your treat while the street lives its life before your eyes :).

I've tried all the flavors (they let you try before being!), and they are all amazing. I'm not really a fan of ice creme, but this is something else… Brought my whole family there when they came to visit, and they fell in love too. So this vote actually counts for four ;)

We visited Barcelona and stumbled on this ice cream parlor with handmade ice creams in El Born.. The pistachio blew us off our feet! Enough to say that during our 5-day stay we came back again and again to try as many different flavors as possible. The owner was very friendly, giving us samples of various types to try. I... More

Delicious favors, hazelnut, pistachio, coffee, strawberry-all winners! We were dismayed by the use of the same tasting spoon to dip in the container of gelato when we asked for a second taste. When in Barcelona......

Hands down the best nocciola ice cream/ gelato I have ever had - including all Italian ones I have tasted! This place is stylish and hidden in one of the alleys of El Born.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
