Not a good experience. Although the restaurant was half full, the main courses took 1 hour to arrive. Salty and mediocre paella. Nothing special. Waiters rushing around but lacking attention. Had to ask for the bill 3 times before finally getting it. Don’t bother.

Had dinner here recently with friends. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was warm and fresh, and cooked well. We ordered a selection of starters/appetisers to come as a tapas and all were good. Lovely views from the room upstairs. Overall a good...More

Two-story restaurant with outdoor seating as well. Located directly adjacent to beach, sea and walking path. Menu includes a variety of options including various rice dishes. Unfortunately our server was less than welcoming and attentive.

Not a lot to say about this restaurant . It is near the beach so naturally expect to pay more, I guess. We only had drinks there. Beer was cold, so give them credit for that. What was bothersome however is that we were charged...More

Came here with my husband based on a Lonely Planet recommendation. We started reading the Trip Advisor reviews after being seated and thought we should either leave or restrict our order to a bare minimum. We ended up ordering a light lunch and were very...More

An awful experience! It was our final meal Barcelona and was left bitterly disgusted. We went for dinner expecting some beautiful fresh seafood due to its location - but we were very wrong. After being seated we waited about 20 minutes before being offered a...More

Chose as a pre-dinner meeting place for drinks, due to proximity to the beach and the view. Pleasant enough.

If you want a wonderful view of the sea and the various boats coming in and out, then this is a great place to dine. The food is solid but not exceptional. The sangria was excellent. Service was a little slow to start but finished...More

Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area
can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging
over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each
other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing
games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away,
Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line
the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed
sand structures making this the most visited beach in
