Is Too Much of a Good Thing Still a Good Thing?

24 courses in the tasting menu is about 4 courses too many though almost all of them exquisitely presented and done well, except for the beef that would have been excellent were it not too salted. Expected for a long long time the last evening we enjoyed the most interested, fun, clever exercise of Nikkei cuisine performance ever seen before... Excellent staging.Great timming. Unbeatable service and warm/close attention of our waiter. We took the "beverage selection" pairing - amaizing price for the huge range displayed! Set tasting menu just overcome yourself. Uni (sea-urchin) and black truffle..WOW!!! Tuna... More

I often write reviews but this exceeds all expectations in Culinary Experience, textures, flavours, ingredients and not to forget exceptional service with the waiters wands to pint out things on your dishes.... The courses kept coming and coming.

Food: great combinations of Asian and Peruvian cuisine. One of the very few restaurants with long testing menu which every single serving was more than good. Service very professional. Good vfm for the type of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

A last minute decision to visit this one Michelin star Japanese Peruvian fusion restaurant turned out to be the highlight of our dining experiences. We sat at the bar which delighted us so we could keep a close eye on each of the 3 heads of department...Japanese, Peruvian & Pastry. We chose the tasting menu and a bottle of recommended... More

The decoration is beautiful, with what seems to be a deconstruction of Peruvian looms and threads. The dishes a beauty to look at, and genuinely exquisite. Also, do try the Pisco cocktails!

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
