See you again, Taranna Cafe

I went there on a sunny Saturday morning for breakfast. All the tables inside were already taken so we had to sit outside - fortunately winters in Barcelona are mild and it was a very pleasant stay. The cappuccinos we ordered were delicious and the baked eggs with mushrooms and beans with sausage... read more

Me and my boyfriend went there to lunch, we ate a menu with soup, a quiche (my choice) or a roll meat (his choice) and one drink! I also asked for an espresso at the end of my meal and it was good! The price is nice! The café is so beautiful and comfy and well decorated!

I had a good lunch menu here. I think it's a vegetarian restaurant. I had a nice tomato soup , then a quiche and finished with a yoghurt with honey. It was yummy and not expensive.

We had a nice little breakfast, healthy options as well as buttery pastries. Good coffee and nice staff. Friendly atmosphere.

I have been here for a brunch on Sunday morning. Very good food. Unfortunately they do not have brunch menus but you have to order the single dishes that are very big. If you want to try more and have the dessert too is a good idea to share everything.

I went here with a friend for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe the name sounds Italian but it really isn't; it's somewhat eclectic. There are a lot of items with "crema" in them on the menu, a great variety of salads, guacamole, sandwiches and wraps, and lots of other different things. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I'd say,... My wife and me went there twice. The first day after missing breakfast at the hotel and the second time for a late lunch. We had wonderful eggs in the oven, with spinach. The second day we had a really good personal interpretation of Caprese salad, with sun-dried tomatoes and a delicate vinaigrette. The chef Creates and TASTES her own... More

The location is nice, the design gorgeous, and the food is good (though expensive). Unfortunately, the staff is rude and there are some absurd "rules" (such as no sandwiches after 12 pm or such). Worth visiting anyway.

I have been here a couple of times and I love the terrace in the afternoon. Be it for a good coffee or an early vermut, you're at the right place. Superfriendly people as well.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
