Unique ambience, in between bohemian and hipster. Quality food and quality coffee, nice range of desserts and snacks.

We had a lovely Sunday brunch at Tarannà Cafe. The place was full of locals and had a nice atmosphere. The dishes were delicious but could have been just a little bit larger.

Beautiful place, swell decor. Went in for breakfast. Food was good. One of the only nice places with good coffee in Sant Antoni area. Check the basement space!

Late breakfast/brunch. We had baked eggs with chorizo and cherry tomatoes and also smoked salmon on toast with dill cream. Coffees were good and food fresh and well prepared. Generous serves. Service was good if a bit slow. Nice open window seat and chairs outside,...which were all taken so we sat inside. Good food and worth a visit. Not a huge menu but if you are a bit over the tourist food or tapas then a good place to try.More

Taranna is the best place I've ever visited in Barcelona. I am coming back to this place more and more. Every time I'm in Barcelona, I go to there. Good atmosphere, service, personell is really welcoming. Perfect food. It's vegetarian-friendly, so you can find salads,...snacks, green drinks. As well, you find meat, fish and so on. Good prices. Really recommend!More

I was accompanying my husband on a conference trip to Barcelona and we were staying at hotel near the Sant Antoni Market, whilst the Hotel was fine it did not inspire me to eat in its restaurant so I started to explore the area which...has good vibe around Career del Parliament with a number of quite hip looking cafés, coffee shops and restaurants. The first one I tried on my first morning was Café Taranna, it was so good I had breakfast there every day whilst we were in Barcelona. Not only is the decor very cool and chic but the food and coffee were great too. The yoghurt with Muesli, fruit and honey was so fresh and tasty I had it every day, great pastries too, the only let down in my view was the orange juice which surprised me as after all I was in Spain a great orange growing nation (we had just returned from a trip Mallorca where the orang juice was to die for so I may be a little harsh!) it could have been little more orangy! Other people were having more traditional Spanish breakfast items from the brunch menu and they all looked great too.More

A very cute, quiet, and chill cafe in Barcelona's Poblesec! The staff is super friendly, and efficient. The interior is very cozy and cute. There are not many people, and there are very few tourists. Ideal place to come and relax.

We ate outside and came for brunch. The coffees were luke warm but the eggs in the oven were good, although 3 eggs for Eur8.50 is not cheap. Service was fine. Would not rush back.

We found this restaurant by chance, and we hit the jackpot! The staff was very friendly and they spoke English, Spanish or Catalán... maybe more. The customers seemed to be locals who knew about it and came back for the quality of the food. The...dishes were made from the freshest ingredients and the combination of flavors were creative, unexpected and delicious. We were there for dinner one night and came back the next to repeat the fig dish and to try something new. It was great!More
