This place is tucked away in the courtyard of the Frederic Mares museum. We stumbled upon it by accident. You should go there to find tranquility and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The ginger lemonade is a blast.

Sitting in the sun, drinking a good glass of wine and eating some fresh tapas, at a fair price... Life can be so easy...

To my delight, I stumbled on this cafe after wandering freely without a specific plan. Stopped to have a sandwich and a beer. Swift and friendly service. Now that I know about this place, will seek it on return visits to Barcelona.

We were delighted to stumble upon this quiet outdoor cafe today. We had some tapas and drinks. The waiter was attentive and nice. The view of the cathedral tower was wonderful.

This is a real find, tucked away behind the historical museum, its a tiny enclosed sun trap where you can escape the hassle & bustle, enjoy a good coffee & read while people watching from afar, we returned there every day xxx
