Food was fantastic - really fresh. The service was really outstanding. My wife and myself have very different taste in food and they made sure that they catered wonderfully for both of us - nothing was too much trouble. If you are in Barcelona you...have to visit 👍More

The food here is amazing, the waiting staff will ask what you like and bring you dishes that they think you’d want, if you don’t like it, they exchange it free of charge! We didn’t have to do this though, all the food was fantastic!...The only thing better than the food is the service, everybody was friendly, helpful and they speak a range of languages. Laura in particular was super friendly and looked after us really well.More

Bodega Biarritz was the best meal we had during our trip. We arrived expecting a a queue, and were absolutely correct. We ummed and ahhed about whether to stay or not, and are so pleased we did. If you're stood in the queue right now,...reading this deciding if it is worth it or not; Relax. Put your phone down. Order a Sangria. Enjoy the weather. Take in the atmosphere. Imagine what inside will look like (believe me, you're wrong. It looks completely different to what you're thinking right now). Sip your sangria. Look at the menu. Wonder if it is worth paying the extra 10Euro's for the Iberian Ham, Manchego and Bread starter. Reason "I'm on holidayt" and decide to go for it. Sip your sangria, again. Get excited about the food. Notice the queue is moving much quicker than you thought. Poke your head round the curtain to see what it looks like inside. Sip your sangria again. Realise it's running low. Wonder if it's cheeky to order a second before your meal. Reason "I'm on holiday" and decide to go for it, again. Ah, finally, the time has arrived. "Hola, do you want to sit at the bar or outside?". Pick the bar. Always pick the bar. The atmosphere and intimate feel is what makes this place so special. The staff quickly bring over your Appetiser, which in our case was Tortilla (Spanish Omelette), and it was superb. The plate of meat, cheese and breads was next, and this again was very tasty. We sat and enjoyed this at the bar with a view of the kitchen, watching the masters at work. It was very interesting to see the care and attention the staff took choosing the 8 tapas for their diners to feast on. They wouldn't just pick the same 8 everytime, but seemingly chose combinations that worked well together. While some nervous people may like to choose their food, the element of surprise made us even more excited. We got to try dishes we may not have picked if presented with a full Tapas menu, which was brilliant. At this point in the meal, the staff really let you enjoy yourselves in peace; not approaching you unless you need something. I liked this, It allowed us to enjoy our Tapas at a nice steady pace, without feeling rushed. We could take in the beautiful design and aesthetic of Bodega Biarritz. We could savour the flavours that were entering our mouth. We could appreciate the many wonderful dialects and accents of those dining near us; it seems an excellent spot not just for tourists but locals too. Alas, the pièce de résistance, the Crème de la crème, or Crema Catalana should I say. The dessert finished the meal of in the best way, even coming with 2 shots. I recommend to anyone reading this, wait your turn in the short queue and try this place out. You will not be disappointed.More

This May just be one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at, and it’s also great value for the price. There was a choice of 2 set menus- one with bread and jamon and one without. Of course we had the jamon. The...food was truly incredible- the flavours, and generous portions. It seemed like endless tapas and each dish was sooo tasty. In fact we struggled to finish everything, and we had to agree who would finish each of the leftovers - we couldn’t bare to leave any but in the end we were soo full and we could not quite finish it all. Sorry Biarritz!! Which brings me to the service and atmosphere - honestly the staff and service were amazing, it felt like we were dinner guests in a lovely dinner party. The decor is cosy and fun too. I recommend you visit ASAP and take it all in with a glass (or 3) of Tinto Verano. I’ll be back, every time I’m in Barcelona.More

Very good Spanish food, we ordered the selection of the 6 random selection tapas which came with an smoked meat starter all for €40 (2 people). The food was absolutely amazing and is the best we’ve had on our trip. Furthermore all the cocktails were...hand made and taste delicious. Worth visiting on your trip for a true authentic taste of Spanish cuisine. Our waitress Mona was amazing, explaining every dish provided with good detail.More

The best tapas I have ever eaten. Fresh, delicious, unpretentious, not too heavy or rich, and very reasonably priced. Set menu for 2 with a couple of glasses of wine each was €54, and worth twice that. Our waiter Johnny was absolutely lovely, so friendly...and attentive. You won't regret eating here.More

Bad points: Table sticky when we arrived Most dishes were bland and greasy Fried foods e.g. chicken smelt of fish Presentation including wooden serving boards a little tacky Generally, food was unexciting and 1 dimensional. Lacked freshness This is a tourist trap, really do anything...you can to avoid this place. Plus, they reported my initial bad review to hide it from their page! I suspect the report many negative reviews to hide them!!!More
