After abandoning another restaurant we were stuck - it was late and we were hungry. This was near our hotel and what a gem! Great burgers, toasted sandwiches, beer and ice cream. Quick and helpful service too. Had a fun atmosphere. Would visit again

I had a toasted sandwich that was meant to be ham and cheese that came cold and tasteless; had hardly any filling and was not made in a sandwich toaster. My wife ordered fried egg and mushroom which came undercooked, floating on oil on a bed of what looked like shredded crisps. The dish came in a deep bowl and... More

We recently had our dinner here as it wasn't far from our hote, the staff were friendly and although the person who served us didn't speak much English they still were good, it was excellent that they have a menu that is in English. We really enjoyed our food here, we had mostly starters and then a pasta, it's a... More

My family and I were staying in Barca for a short city break. We found Salzburg on the first night just up from the apartment we were staying. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The beer pumps on the table were a novelty but actually quite a cheap and convenient way of getting your beer. Neither me nor the missus could... More

We were actually going to another restaurant an ld it was closed... however we ended having 2 great hot dogs with german sausages.. only missed the 5 because the bathroom could be a little cleaner and they could have a better mustard served on the tables. Other than that it was great!!!

This place is quick and simple. A great selection of beers and some nice fast food. This is not a place you take your partner to on your anniversary but it does what it says on the tin. I had a hotdog (with onions, chilli sauce and olives), it was a bratwurst as the place has a German Theme and... More

If you need a quick pretty good bite, at inexpensive prices and good portions Salzburg is a good choice. The restaurant is always busy and has a big screen for those looking to catch a football match. Good happy service.

We popped in when we found our 1st choice eatery, El Sot was closed. It's a sort of German - themed cross between a Nandos and a sports bar. The food is cheap, plentiful, and firmly designed with the carnivores in mind. It's pub food, so don't expect restaurant quality. That said, it did the job, and even with a... More

We ate here a few days ago. It was very hot and we didn't fancy getting back on the metro so we walked to this restaurant from our apartment. It was fairly early so not many people there for dinner yet. The menu had lots of choice and was given to us in English. My younger son had the 35... More

This place was just down the road from our hotel, so we thought we'd give it a try as the place we'd planned to go was closed. We didn't have any expectations and expected the food to just be average, but it was actually truly awful! Mass produced and completely flavourless. Possibly the worst meal I have ever eaten.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
