We went for the tasting menu at €39.90 and everything was just perfect. From the tomato bread to the wine we couldn’t fault anything. The turbot dish was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had anywhere, cooked to perfection and the taste was just...fantastic. Small intimate venue with a dozen or so tables the staff matched the excellence of the food. Highly recommend and well worthy of 5 stars for everything.More

We managed to get a last minute reservation last Saturday following the recommendation of a colleague and were so glad we did. A super friendly welcome and after some advice we opted for the 5 course tasting menu, including wine. Every dish was innovative, delicious...and nicely presented and the recommended local wines were very nice too. Very happy with our choice, thank you and good luck, will definitely recommend to family and friends. Make sure to pre-book as it appears to be booked out most evenings. Wish you had a satellite restaurant in London ;-)More

Personnel is really friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. We were not Spanish but tried to talk it. The waitress really liked the fact we tried to talk it.

We are on a menu del dia roll and so far this is our 2nd favorite during our 5 weeks in barcelona. Menu was 19€ including a glass of wine and 3 delish courses, loves and bread of course.Starters were baked eggplant with a red...pesto, arugula, nuts and pomegranate seeds oh yum. Other starter was broccoli on a bed of puréed carrots with pancetta. simple but delicious and made us feel healthy. Mains were a fish filet, not sure which kind but as usual in spain cooked perfectly atop a rich and wonderful ratatouille with plenty of olive oil. Other was sautéed shrimp atop a large pice of pancetta, a bit fatty by nature but rich for me. Desserts were apple sponge cake with whipped cream, nice but not special but the white chocolate soup with bananas and chocolate chips was of so wonderful. We had to grunt just a bit to get it down. All fantastic!More

Just Brilliant. Been here before and eaten amazing food 2 years ago and the guy behind the bar recognised us! Place really buzzes, it’s not big but always full, so reserve if you want to make sure to get in, we hadn’t so we were...lucky. the welcome is great, very friendly and it feels like everyone knows each other, we made some friends. So the food. Excellent selection of very well put together appetisers, starters and main courses, in no particular order we enjoyed deer with Parmesan, pistachio and rocket with olive, seared scallop on pork belly with a sherry and creamy sauce, and a wild pork cannelloni, all magnificent, tasty and reasonably priced. We shared everything, so portion control meant we could taste as many dishes as possible, given that we had had a gastronomic menu for lunch elsewhere! We will definitely be coming back though, and we won’t be waiting 2 years this time.More

This is the kind of restaurant that you might pass by and not notice. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t need to be. The food is everything. The food is exquisite. The service is warm and friendly. The lunch menu is incredibly affordable. That’ll explain the...queues. The evening dinner is worth every single penny. I honestly don’t think you’ll find better more interesting food for the price anywhere in Barcelona.More

We went here because of recommendation of our friend. First attempt we walked in, but unfortunately it was fully booked and had to wait till 22h...so we made a reservation of the next date at 20h. Please do that! They are very busy every day....We took starter and main course. Really good food and worth to try!More

Read some reviews and decided to try this lovely little trendy restaurant. It was off season and still packed. So make a reservation unless you want to try and sit at the bar. For 17 Euros and amazing meal, one of the best we had...in Spain. Tomato salad, beef stew and a crazy good desert. Again, I can't stress the need for reservations. But so worth it.More

My girlfriend and I visited this restaurant after a recommendation from our Airbnb host. Didn’t have to wait too long for a table after arriving just after 9pm on a Wednesday. The appertisers and mains were flawless. Some of the most delicious food we’ve ever...had, especially the scallop and pork belly and ravioli. We need to give a special mention to the tomato bread - so good we ordered a second round. The monkfish stew was amazing, as was the sirloin. The desserts were a bit of a miss however, only because of the standard of the savoury dishes. Reasonable prices for what we had, especially the house wines at €3 per glass. The service was excellent too - overall a wonderful meal. We will be returning on our next visit to Barcelona for sure.More

I live on this square overlooking the market. Idyllic. Popped into this small friendly place for a glass of wine one evening and decided to try the food. The daily menu de Dias is amazing value and the evening meal superb. The queue of people...trying to get in just reflects its popularity. Great Catalan food. Go!More

We went to this excellent restaurant on recommendation. We had the taster menu & it was simply wonderful. Every course was full of flavour &: excellent value at 35 euro per head including a bottle of wine. Very attentive & friendly staff. I need to...be more careful in handing out 5 stars in my future reviews as to only give this wonderful place only five seems nowhere near enough! Thank you for a really good evening.More

So glad we returned after showing up too late another night we made a reservation for Saturday evening, our last night in BCN. Such a wonderful welcome and we were so glad we came back. We had the tasting menu which was delectable; the service...was awesome and the price very reasonable. 35 euros for the tasting menu including wine which was very satisfying and some of the best food we have had on our trip to Barcelona. Highly recommend but book ahead.More

It is usually possible to make reservations. However, I am not sure whether this is possible on December 31 and whether it is open on December 31 and on January 01.
