I read the mixed reviews and decided to try this place out. But frankly the cocktail is not too bad but pizza wise, not too bad but not so good. Crust not perfect, toppings not so generous or fresh. I Guess the food here might have been much better in the past. And when the place gets more popular, food... More

I went here 2 times. It could not have been better. The cocktails were expertly prepared. Every drink I had was the best in its own right. I enjoyed empanadas and pizza, both were extremely delicious. The staff was super accommodating and very helpful. Best cocktails in Barcelona!

Went to this place as we stayed in the hotel next to it. It's a small intimate place, perhaps 8 tables at a push, we went around 9pm knowing that locals eat late so we managed to get a table although even at that time there were only 2 tables free. Very family run place to a point where they... More

We visited as a family of 5. It is a small place but a nice atmosphere. The lady running the place works very hard but needs more staff. Pizzas were from ready prepared bases, not fresh, so not so good. Service really slow. There is better available.

Its a small cozy bar with nice cocktails but go here only if you have alot of patience and are willing to wait more than 30 mins. for carpaccio. I really enjoyed my cocktail but i would not go here if i knew everything would take so long.

Alberto's Marcellesa empanada was the first amazing taste. But then we "tasted" the Bravas Bercianas and the Pinchos Bercinos (I think.). Our waitress was new. She described it as ham made from beef, as did Alberto. We have never had smoked beef that was this good. The Bercianas sauce beat any potatoes bravas that we have had in our month... More

Worth finding this place if you can. It's a small bar in a side street near the Parallel metro stop. There's no outside seating. We had pesto pizza and chicken salad. Both were made with really fresh and delicious ingredients, love and pride by the owner couple, who are also very friendly, chatty, and helpful. All wines are from a... More

What a great little bar! The staff were super welcoming which made us instantly feel at ease. The drinks menu offers a wide variety of options. The food was fantastic! We had pizza (great choices available) and empanadas. Was really fun to watch the chef do his magic in such a small open kitchen. Thanks guys for a wonderful evening!

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
