This was our second visit to El Casal. It was our automatic choice for eating out in Barcelona having had such a wonderful experience 3 years ago. This time around the restaurant matched all aspects of the previous quality- food- service- ambiance- value for money,but...More

We hunted out this place as it sounded good from the reviews. We had the lunch menu - 3 courses, bread and a drink for €11.25. Very tasty but the portions were tiny - the thinnest sliver of cake I have ever seen and a...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

Can't remember exactly. We got there just after 3 pm and they were still serving lunch but we were one of the last ones. There were only 2 other groups then. And they had run out of one of the main dishes by then.
