We were staying at the U232 hotel just across the road and found this Italian restaurant. We arrived before it opened and the owner kindly opened early for us as we were sheltering from a thunder storm. The restaurant is a very traditional trattoria with lots of atmosphere. We both had pizzas which were delicious and reasonably priced. To top... More

We stopped here for lunch while walking in Barcelona. I was very impressed with the amazing gluten free pizza they made! My husband also enjoyed his pizza ( which was not gluten free) The staff was helpful and accommodating with my food allergies. We ate outside and it was lovely. I will definitely come back if we are visiting again!

Cool, trendy and very good restaurant. Service was great and food was delicious. Went for a business dinner and all expectations were meet.

This place is extremely popular with the locals. It was nearly filled while another similar Italian restaurant a few doors down was nearly empty. I think we were the only tourists there. We had a vegetarian pizza and a mushroom risotto, both of which were perfectly good, but nothing exceptional.

I was brought there by a bunch of colleagues to "a great Italian restaurant in Barna" (I am Italian). Well, this place is not authentic, pizza was bad and with weird ingredients (bbq sauce, chicken, etc.) typical of pizza places ran by non-Italians here. The same is true for the other dishes in the menu... The original ingredients (like mozzarella... More

I was staying at the nearby hotel U232 and decided to check out the restaurants in the neighborhood. I stumbled upon this restaurant and it was very busy. The ambiance was inviting so I thought that I would give it a try. I ordered a salad, pizza and a glass of the white house wine. The salad was delicious and... More

It been a while since we were last year, but after can evening of shopping locally an opportunity to review the old haunts. This was always a great pizza place, and it hasn't changed much at all. Sometimes, when you have you have a good thing going you just don't want to change it, and we're glad they didn't. A... More

Although we lived in Barcelona for 6 years never visited this Italian until last weekend, stumbled across it. Authentic Italian reasonably priced with good service and great food the Caesar Salad was good and the Piazzas were superb. We had to wait for a table about 15 minutes this was at 10.30 ish on a rainy Friday so maybe worth... More

It is really the best Roman Pizza(thin and crunchy) in the city. Prepared in a n old style own, with natural ingredients. Nona and Mama are my favorites. Average cost : 15 euros per pizza, + some drink.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
