Visited twice on our stay and all had different pizzas each time. Really tasty stone cooked pizzas and yum dessert. Nice and quiet and quite intimate which meant we could enjoy the company more than bigger restaurants. Worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood.

Great pizza place. Classic Italian style, with fresh veggies, prosciutto, tomato sauce, thin crust, quality chesses. Yummy!

Very nice place to eat Italian food in Barcelona! Federico is a nice guy and one of the best pizza maker I know, he is also a Chef and whatever he creates it is amazing...He is very stitched to traditions but still he has a great creativity to invent every time new pizzas.. The restaurant is a small cozy place... More

After a very long day travelling the family wanted to eat early. In Barcelona as much of Spain this is not so easy to do. We arrived as they were opening at 7pm and whilst the restaurant was obviously quiet we were welcomed in before they were really ready for us and had drinks whilst the ovens were warmed up.... More

I stumbled upon La Verde Umbria and glad that I did. The service was friendly, attentive, and Italian. The pizza was excellent: not too heavy, not too light, wood-fired, and delicious. The prices were very reasonable for such great service and food.

Had a late dinner. The pizza was really great, they offer lots of unique options. The place is neatly decorated and cozy. The owners are super friendly and really pay attention to detail.

The waitress was really kind and chatty. We didn't wait long for the ordered pizzas. Pizza was medium sized & crusty, and I really liked the tomatoes which tasted fresh. Would definitely recommend for quick and tasty dinner!

As the 4th Italian we've now been too in Barcelona I can say categorically this was the 4th best. Food was good but the service was less than pleasant. Anywhere where the first thing you are told is how long you will have to finish your lunch is questionable.

Walked a ways just to eat here. ordered 3 pizza, 1 pasta. Pizzas were excellent. Ordinarily we wait until all are served to eat insieme, together. Told family just to go ahead, tho. They had almost finished before my "very strong Gorgonzola Sugo" arrived...um more like Gouda really. It was well cooked, portion moderately sized. Decor is fantastically oddball, would... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
