We went to Barcelona last week with friends and family, staying in an apartment closed to this cafe. I went there to have the breakfast by myself, Ham & Cheese Bikini (grilled sandwich), orange juice, cafe latte; all of them are brilliant, and the staff was really helpful. Will come again in my next trip to Barcelona!!

Great place for breakfast with delicious croissants, muffins and cafe con leche. Reasonably priced and a range of deals too eg. coffee, croissants and juice. Nice, friendly, accomodating staff.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. They were able to serve us a vegetarian breakfast sandwich on delicious bread. The juice is heavenly. The coffee is very strong. Just as we were leaving they put out quiches that looked and smelled wonderful. We should have had one!

Enjoyed breakfast here twice on recent visit to Barcelona. The OJ was fresh squeezed, yum! Coffee and pastries were very good indeed. The prices were very reasonable too.

We came here yesterday for breakfast/lunch. We ordered the deal advertised outside on the board: a sandwich, orange juice and coffee for €5-6 (can't remember exact price). The orange juice was lovely and refreshing - it did have bits. We both had the ham sandwich, which came on crusty bread! And then I had a coffee with milk, and my... More

A lovely bakery with a fantastic owner who advised on products that did not contain animal fat (apparently many pastries and croissants do). The buttery fresh croissants were great as were their cereal croissants and breads. The ovens are clearly visible from the street and from within the bakery. The juices were freshly bottled and many varieties to choose from.... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
