We had breakfast a couple of times there, we tried the croissants, the cafe con leche (latte), the "cortado con leche" (espresso with few milk) and the ham&cheese hot sandwich. All of them were delicious. The stuff is nice, they always smile. Probably we are not alone with this opinion as around 9.30 the place is full of people. :)

Me and my friend went in for a quick snack. She got a pizza and I got a cheese and ham croque Monsieur type thing which was really tasty. I think they both came to only 4€ which is really good value.

Had quick breakfast here twice while staying at the Barcelona Universal hotel. The pastries are baked there and taste great. The coffee is really good and the price is very reasonable. If you are looking for an inexpensive quick breakfast this is the place to go. They also make sandwiches and other treats too.

This little place was near our hotel so we visited for breakfast because their baked good looked so good. Fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee, fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches made everyone in our party quite happy with Dino Pan

This place does it well! Fresh baguettes cooked and prepared in house, fresh pastries and super service. Food was well priced and delicious, also available to take away. Would definitely recommend this place, even just to grab a snack to out in your bag for later on in the day. If you have dietary requirements they can make up sandwiches... More

We decided to try this place out for breakfast. We got two sandwiches, a croissant, two coffees and two orange juices which cost a big 15 euros. We were not impressed by the taste of the food and had a stomach ache half way through.

While staying near this restaurant had a chance to visit this place for a quick breakfast. One can order various combinations of sandwiches. There are variety of juices, milk and coffee available. The food is fresh, the premises clean, the service is fast and the price very reasonable. What else do you need. Will visit again definitely.

Very tasty sandwiches. Crunchy bread moisturized with tomato so they were not at all dry. Breakfast for two with coffees, orange juice and sandwiches less than 10€. Would definitely visit again if we stayed near Dino Pan again.

This bakery and coffee shop is across the street from the Hotel Tryp Apolo Barcelona. It is a chain and there are many in Barcelona. This is the one where we ate breakfast every morning. They serve delicious pastries, sandwiches and cafe con leche.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
