La Nena was on my list of places to go in my visit to Barcelona. I read the reviews and thought it'd be a good option. After walking miles to get there, once we opened the door the waitresses looked at each other and rolled their eyes as there was only 15 minutes left of service and they obviously didn't... More

This place has really good food and is just cool! There is a room in the back for kids, filled with all the things that keep toddlers to tweens busy while their parents enjoy brunch, lunch or a light dinner. Food was varied and enjoyable. It is very casual and though there are not many seats, turnover is quick. It... More

La Nena is a quite place located in the center of Gracia, with healthy food and delicious coffees and teas. A kids friendly restaurant but also a relaxing place that makes special any meeting.

Really lush little cafe. Great coffee and breakfasts. Full of locals. It did not matter that the waiter spoke no English as they had a menu in English. He happily helped with my pronunciation! My only regret I did not return for the hot chocolate.

Slowly wandering around in Barcelona, Cracia - hunting for breakfast and the first cup of coffee of the day. La Nena is just there…round the corner when you just want it the most. Great little authentic place and plenty of space despite the size. Vegetarian option chosen for a morning "Breakie" -slides of toasts with tomato salsa, roasted asparagus and... More

I am someone who likes trying new places all the time, but my dad just loved this place for breakfast and always wanted to keep coming back. I understand why. It has a nice casual local feel, the staff were very friendly, and most of the dishes were well made. Dad fell in love with the potato & onion tortilla... More

This place is full of locals (it is located in a really chilled residential area - Gracia) and has a very cosy vibe. The portions are very generous and the food tastes amazing. It is a really nice spot for breakfast/brunch or to get xurros amb xocolata.

This is the perfect place to experience a typical Catalan breakfast. The place is cosy and people are super nice! The only problem is that it is sometimes a bit croweded and you have to wait to find a place to sit.

20 minute morning walk with my daughter to the Gracia neighborhood from La Sagrada Familia neighborhood,,well worth the search for this quaint little restaurant..tucked away in a residential side street.Lots of locals here. Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
