My wife and I visited this restaurant as it's just a few minutes walk from our hotel and were delighted with our choice. The place is spotlessly clean and the service fast and efficient. We had large prawns in parsley and garlic sauce, a beef dish, ham with mango sauce and the standard patates bravas, all washed down with some... More

We stumble across El Callejon when we failed to get a table at a place across the street. Located off Carrer Ample, it turned out to be a great find. Super friendly atmosphere, great food and great wine. Would absolutely go back.

We found this restaurant while walking around Barcelona. It's a lovely little place at the end of a little alley. The tapas were delicious. They have one with ham and mango on crusty bread, perfect. There is also one with apple and foie gras, also wonderful. Their bread with tomato, a standard, has little crunchy pieces of sea salt on... More

We were staying in the hotel nearby and discovered this restaurant only at the end of our stay. What a brilliant meal we had! Tapas were super tasty and that baked cheesecake worth 6 out of 5 stars! The only drawback - the restaurant is tiny so we had to wait a while before sitting down.

I went there with friends and we started with a round of tapas (bravas, tortilla, pimientos del padrón, pan con tomate). Honestly the qulity of the tapas was poor and the quantity not enough. So we asked for another round and a steack that we shared The second round was similar to the first one but the steack was delicious.... More

We were wandering the neighbourhood looking for a place for a late dinner and ended up here and I would say this was our favourite meal of our Barcelona visit. We had fancier food elsewhere but really liked the food overall (had a risotto, a pasta, pork tenderloin, milanesa and a few tapas) as well as the easygoing and capable... More

We went to this place for the good reviews we had seen, but unfortunately it didn't met our expectations. The food was not bad but not worth the visit or the price, we ended up regretting the choice, especially when we had a few really good restaurants at the same price range within a 5 to 10 min. walk.

After spending the afternoon sight-seeing on foot, my wife and I looked for a place to stop for coffee. As soon as I saw El Callejon, I fell in love at first sight. There was something about it - set back at the end of an alley, its soft lights beckoning. We went in and had coffee at the bar.... More

Tucked away in the old town to the east of Las Ramblas, a lovely combination of Tapas and substantial main courses, beautifully cooked. Service could not have been friendlier! House wine excellent value!
