Enjoyed our visit to this restaurant on our first night in Barcelona. Lovely sharing tapas & loved the cheese course with marmalade!

We popped in on a whim looking for tapas and hit a gold mine. We only had four dishes, but each one was really, really good. If had more time we've have come back to try the rest.

Situated at the end of a short alleyway 15m off Carrer Ample in Barcelona's Barri Gotic, this small, attractive restaurant offers a friendly welcome and excellent dining from a varied (predominantly Spanish with a hint of Italian) menu with sensibly priced drinks. The service and meal quality were very high and all at a reasonable cost for the four of... More

We met the same bad apple as Gingerballs. It is a very cute place down a long dead end and we decided to have a look like we have done at a hundred places in Spain. My wife and i walked in and said "Hola" to the tall woman behind the bar. The place was completely empty. We walked out... More

We had a lovely romantic evening here. The ambience was pleasant. It is a small intimate place with checked table cloths. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was authentic and full of flavour. We had tapas including a melted cheese provolone, shredded ham and beef with chimichurri. The house white was acceptable. We thoroughly recommend this place.

We have been here more than 5 times and it is a dependable place for good food and drink. Tonight however we started out with a nice waitress (tall one) and finished with a different waitress, (short one) who was extremely rude. I won't go into detail but it almost ruined our night.

My wife and I visited this restaurant as it's just a few minutes walk from our hotel and were delighted with our choice. The place is spotlessly clean and the service fast and efficient. We had large prawns in parsley and garlic sauce, a beef dish, ham with mango sauce and the standard patates bravas, all washed down with some... More

We stumble across El Callejon when we failed to get a table at a place across the street. Located off Carrer Ample, it turned out to be a great find. Super friendly atmosphere, great food and great wine. Would absolutely go back.

We found this restaurant while walking around Barcelona. It's a lovely little place at the end of a little alley. The tapas were delicious. They have one with ham and mango on crusty bread, perfect. There is also one with apple and foie gras, also wonderful. Their bread with tomato, a standard, has little crunchy pieces of sea salt on... More
